Jumbo-Series

Big Shot-Series

The Jumbo nozzle is an externally heated hotrunner nozzle and it is especially designed for „single“ applications and high shot weights up to 6000 g.

The screwed version of the Big Shot series is mainly found in larger molds, respectively for shot weights from min. 400 g to max. 6000 g.*

Multi-Series MS and MTG

Easy Shot-Series

The externally heated multi hotrunner nozzles for multiple gating, lateral (MS) or frontal gating (MTG), allow for special application configurations.

Fuchslocher valve gate nozzle Fox 48 VS This spring operated machine nozzle is a new development based on PSG‘s many years of experience. It responds to the increased market demands for high injection pressures, variable needle locking pressure, maintenance friendliness, and long lifetime. VS = Vario Spring

Fuchslocher valve gate nozzle Fox 48 CH A and CP A This is PSG‘s first machine shut-off nozzle with active needle pull-back. The valve pin is controlled by a flanged control unit. The nozzles are available in hydraulic, Fox 48 CH A, or pneumatic, Fox 48 CP A, makes.

Intelligent needle design (small uplift area when closed) and a sophisticated lever construct (large transmission ratio through „single-arm lever“ on CP A) lead to a very space-efficient nozzle. The new needle seal with exchangeable needle guidance ensures a long lifetime, continual production, and saves cost. max. thread Ø48

Features/ Advantages and Benefits: • The active needle pull-back function enables a controlled opening independent of the injection pressure and a free melt flow. This ensures fault-free components and continual production. Needle movement is always guaranteed. • The flanged operating unit makes the nozzle immidiately ready for use. Only the operating medium (hydraulic, pneumatic) and the cooling water need to be connected. This spares you extensive adaptation and avoids errors.

Filter nozzles Miniclean MC Our filter technology ensures continual, reliable production while operating the hotrunner systems. Especially for smaller gate diameters and when processing re-ground materials.

To optimize the mix result we developed, together with BASF AG, a melt-mixer that improves melt-homogenization. It can be swapped against the standard back flow valve without making changes at the barrel. MixxTip® is suitable for all common plastics like ABS, PA, PS, PP, PE etc. and can also be used for shearsensitive materials like PBT and POM. Also, transparent materials such as PC can be processed.

In case of reinforced plastics with 20% of the maximum shot weight, the total shot weight will be reduced by 20%.
