Enjoyable Dining at Bryce Resort

hen you think of really good food – comfort food with a flair that will satisfy even the most particular palate – Bryce Resort is the perfect place to bring the entire family for lunch or dinner in the Copper Kettle, or create special memories with a romantic dinner for two in the Restaurant @ Bryce. Both areas create an atmosphere that you will want to experience again and again. What makes the food service stand out is that the kitchen at Bryce Resort is a “90% scratch kitchen”. What does that mean? Well, that means you will be getting incredible food that is prepared in our kitchen rather than pre-made items from food purveyors. We specialize in local, all natural, hormone-free beef, free-range chicken – some is organic – wild-caught sea food (nothing farmed), local pork, and in season, local fruits and vegetables. Try our slow-cooked, mouth-watering pulled pork (over 10-hours of roasting), or our tantalizing barbecue ribs, or the best burgers around – made with pure, 14 • Bryce Resort

natural, locally-grown beef. Our bar offers an amazing array of domestic and imported beers, and a comprehensive wine list with selections from around the world and local Virginia wines. Menus are seasonal, so you will be getting the freshest food available. The Copper Kettle is a casual space appointed with antique sports equipment and game boards, ski posters and paintings, and a huge fireplace that entices you to sit and sip hot chocolate. For the sports enthusiast there is an 84-inch large screen TV as well as 8 other televisions for viewing your favorite sporting events. And Texas Hold ‘Em poker is held every Wednesday evening at 7 and 9:30pm. The Copper Kettle is open seven days a week serving both lunch and dinner from 11:00am to 9:00pm. Periodically during ski season, there is live music or a DJ on Friday and Saturday evenings. tic dinner for two or just getting together with friends. The menu items are varied, providing casually elegant food. There is also a fine selection of premium wines perfect for pairing with dinner and delicious on-site made desserts. Open Friday and Saturday evenings, the atmosphere is lovely. Sit by a wall of windows which look at the beautifully-lit ski slopes or next to a huge stone fireplace with a blazing fire where you can dine, then delight in an after dinner aperitif. You can also reserve the restaurant for special events – weddings, anniversaries, and birthday parties – anything you want.
