CHAMBER INSIDER

The first month of 2019 has flown by and your Chamber is moving right along with it. In case you missed the Annual Meeting, you can find copies of the Annual Report at the Chamber office. We also spoke about new opportunities and Chamber initiatives that are happening this year.  The Annual meeting was followed by the  highly anticipated Chairman's Gala where we honored twenty-two businesses and awarded eight businesses and sixteen individual awards at our island happy themed dinner. This month has been a strong focus on  our members with our Brunsco Has It Business Expo and continuing our monthly Schmooza Palooza event to welcome new members and offer an opportunity for new, current and prospective members to get to know one another and share successes and trials.  We also initiated the very first Chamber  Experience - a special interest gathering that would bring people together, both members and community, doing something they all enjoy. It was a great success and we were excited to see new faces around the room. We look forward to more of these!

Keeping with the theme of Member weFocus, want to remind our members that we want to hear from you. Whether it is a new idea or building on a current one, our goal is to provide you with resources and programs to help you succeed. So what exactly does that mean? Share with us your B.O.S.S. Seminar ideas. Apply to host a Chamber Experience or be a part of Being Brunswick. Stop by and speak to us about your business needs. We need YOU to speak up and let us know what you need and want in YOUR Chamber. Lastly, make sure you are taking advantage of ALL the benefits of your membership. If you are not sure what they are, come see us. We want you to get the most out of being a part of the Brunswick County Chamber. Robyn Beliveau & Heather Buell

"I wanted to be an Ambassador because the Chamber and community have been so welcoming and supportive of us and our business. I am grateful to be given the chance to pay it forward to other businesses. I enjoy getting to know other business owners and help promote their business. It's an amazing experience.
