an interesting tool to create a dialogue between generations. More than a concrete outcome, with this project, we aimed to start a process of youth empowerment and competence building, in which youth starts to feel as an important part of the community.

Moreover, with this activity in particular they learnt how to voice their opinion through media and develop their critical thinking in relation to the news and different issues.

So, «UVoice!» was a monthly document in which youth (3 groups, according to their place of origin) voiced their opinion on issues, their preferences, their talents and so on.

One thing that has to be taken into account while developing an activity that lasts for 6 months and it is not focused in a short period of time is MOTIVATION/INVOLVEMENT. It is important that the monitor that helps each group is aware of the dangers of demotivation after the first meeting.

After returning from the meeting with the whole group of participants, it is normal that they may lose some of the excitement and even present a slight lack of commitment. Therefore, it is important to conceive activities that strenghten the group ties and that keep the making of the «UVoice!» a dynamic activity that is strongly based on non-formal education.
