academy

The FACE, standing for the Festival of Awareness and creative expression is a celebration of culture and sport, as well as the final opportunity for students to enjoy and rejoice the end of the academic year. The FACE was conceived by second year students and thus is very much a project designed and developed by students for students. The project is very much inspired by London 2012 and the aspiration to develop a lasting legacy of increased participation in Sport and Cultural diversity. It combines culture and sport through the platform of a festival to promote awareness of the many sporting and cultural opportunities available at Brunel.

AIMS

-To increase student participation by providing students with platforms to express themselves in various ways. -To engage and ensure as many students as possible are aware and are able to take part in the various services provided by the Students Union, such as the various clubs and societies available. -To provide a space for all creative students to demonstrate and showcase their own talents. -To improve the Brunel community, neutralise any negative or intimidating views and provides a space for people to enjoy the last week of term.
