Hi, my name is TENG CHAO-CHUAN, coming from Taiwan. I am a mechanical engineer in consumer electronic device field for 5 years. For these years, I involved in many projects and made them into mass production. I found desire and passion of design from these procedure. Now with these processes and structure knowledge, I want to explore more metodoledges of creative thinking and make my creativity and inspiration become reality.


EXPERIENCE Senior Mechanical Engineer / PEGATRON / Taipei, Taiwan 2016/09~Now (Full time) Evaluated feasibility of mechanical structure of wearable devices for foreign clients. Tracked and analysed issues relating to trial shot of plastic parts and production process. Supported clients to do production process validations and experiments in factories located in China. Summarized production progress and risks to clients regularly.

Mechanical Engineer / FIH of FOXCONN / New Taipei City, Taiwan 2011/07~2016/04 (Full time) Base on RFI or RFQ from clients to e valuate and built a stacking analysis report. Evaluated the feasibility of ID shape concept from clients and broke down initial disassembly method. Evaluated new materials and a new process for phasing into a product. Established 3D models for mechanical structure. Created mockups by 3D printer to verify assembly feasibility and architecture strength. Reviewed DFM of tooling and mold flow analysis from suppliers. Defined dimension tolerance of 2D engineer drawing for tooling manufacturers. Established BOM for assembly factory to buy and store parts. Managed production schedule and progress of materials with suppliers. Performed reliability test, rooted cause issue analysis and debugged on assigned mechanical prototypes. Presented production progress, condition and risk to client in weekly meetings.

Drafting Engineer / JIH-CHENG / New Taipei City, Taiwan 2009/07~2010/07 (Internship) Transfered 2D engineer drawing from paper format to AutoCAD format. Created 3D models in solidworks for each part of automatic capping machine from 2D drawings. Created 3D explosion and assembly drawing for each type of automatic capping machine.

Cats are one of our favorite pets, but the big problem is we have to spend much time to clean its stool everyday. I made a comparasion table of current products in the market, and combined a new idea into it to make the clean process become much easier.

On the other hand, it has risks to let sombody stole it while putting outside a store. Some places provide plastic bags for wet umbrellas, but we all know plastic bags are killers of our earth. Except that, it is a trend to selfie, maybe it is annoyed to take umbrella and selfie-stick together into your small bag at the same time.

Base on model specification and ID CMF from clients to expand our design strategy.


According to different function and purpose, we compared varities of materials for each part. Then we will provide a initial BOM for procurement to proceed quotation of this project.
