A four acre neighborhood park with one picnic shelter and a playground structure. This park is in close proximity to Williams Park.

Stephens Park 610 Stephens Drive

Arbuckle Acres Park is the oldest park in Brownsburg. It boasts beautiful mature shade trees on its 68 acres. Amenities include a baseball complex, lighted basketball and tennis courts, 1.3 miles of trails, seven shelters, and a playground shielded with a canopy of trees.

This property, while undeveloped now, is set to become the next community park in Brownsburg. Features will include parking and a trailhead to the B&O Trail just south of the property as well as multiple other recreational opportunities.

Williams Park 940 S. Locust Lane

Williams Parks’ 77 acres is home to Blast-Off Playground, a spaceship-themed wooden play structure. Maple Ridge Trail is a .79-mile crushed stone nature trail in the wooded area along White Lick Creek. Other amenities include six shelters, a second playground, basketball courts, and a paved .78-mile oval track.

Refund Policy All refunds are subject to the Brownsburg Parks policies and approval and any other local or state procedures necessary to process a refund. Brownsburg Parks reserves the right to cancel, combine, or divide classes; to change time, date, or location; to change instructor’s assignments; and to make any changes that may be necessary from time to time in its sole discretion. Brownsburg Parks will issue a full refund if it cancels a program prior to the start of the program, or a prorated refund if the department cancels a program after the start of the program. Applicable to all programs not listed in Special Programs. Registrant requests for refund must be submitted prior to the start of the program. Brownsburg Parks’ programs are priced at the market value. Brownsburg residents receive a discounted rate for most programs since they contribute to the overall maintenance and operations of the park system through property tax. Those who live outside of the corporate Town limits pay the regular fee.

Ballroom Dance Social dancing made easy! Join the fun of ballroom dancing with Brownsburg Parks. Whether new to dancing or a seasoned dancer, this class is for you! Great exercise and great fun as you learn to lead or follow your dance partner through the basic steps of the most popular ballroom dances. Increase your skills or learn to dance and get excited about dancing the night away! Month-Long Ironman Swim, bike & run your way to complete the Ironman! You will have all 31 days in July to complete 2.4 miles of swimming, 112 miles of biking, and 26.2 miles of running. Instead of completing this challenge in 1 day, take your time and push yourself to the end! Pathfinders Walking Club Walking is the easiest form of exercise and we want to encourage you to exercise! Come walk the path to wellness as you join us at beautiful Williams Park and Arbuckle Acres Park. We will venture down the trails to strengthen your heart, improve circulation and help increase bone health for an overall sense of well-being while we enjoy the great outdoors. Water Aerobics and movement in the water can benefit everyone at any fitness level! Summer is finally here and we can’t forget about our winged friends. Join Brownsburg Parks at Arbuckle Acres Park Pavilion for Bird House 101. Doggie Etiquette

Join Brownsburg Parks at Arbuckle Acres Park for the first ever Doggie Etiquette. The class will be taught by Robbie Ritter of Dog Gone Walking in Indy. This 6 day course will teach your dog basic obedience skills. Teach your dog to be well behaved in public settings and while walking around the neighborhood. Doggie Etiquette graduation will be held on the last day of the course. All owners must provide the office with the most current vaccination records for each dog prior to the first day of class. All dogs must be human and dog friendly. Brownsburg Parks reserves the right to dismiss any participant that they feel will endanger the safety of the other participants. Do you have an active child who enjoys dancing all around the house? Then Dynamic Dancers is just for her. Dynamic Dancers is an exciting new program sure to keep your child active. Snakes and lizards and turtles, oh my! Bundy Lodge will be covered with reptile fun this summer as Indiana Jim comes to talk about everything reptile. Kids! Spend an adventurous Friday this summer with the Brownsburg Public Library and Brownsburg Parks as we introduce Fit Kids Friday. Held at the Brownsburg Public Library, you will watch an animated movie beginning at 10 a.m. with a “Science” theme, create a craft pertaining to the movie, listen to an adventurous story read by the library staff and finish with an outdoor activity that includes the “Science” theme. Get ready to FIZZ, BOOM, READ with us this summer! The fun begins with our annual Kickoff Celebration. There will be a chance to sign up for summer reading, listen to great music, play games, get a souvenir photo, enjoy the bounce house, visit our sponsors’ booths, and of course, get a sweet cool treat for signing up! Mad Science Spectacular: Thursday, July 10, 11 a.m. OR 2 p.m.

Join us as we welcome back Mad Science! The show will feature several (very safe) combustion demonstrations, some of them will be accompanied by some loud noise. Because this event takes place in a meeting room, we will hand out attendance tickets up to room capacity starting 20 minutes before each show. This show is geared towards elementary age students, but all ages are welcome.

Learn to Dive

Divers entering the Learn to Dive program must be successful swimmers, able to enter deep water and move quickly to the side of the pool with no assistance or struggle. Ages 5 and above are appropriate for the 45 minute Learn to Dive class. They will review safety, diving basics and work toward a mastery of the hurdle and a head-first front dive and a head-first back dive entry.
