The British bikers relief foundations Members magazine In the UK during 2010 there were a reported 5183 deaths or serious injuries to Bikers & a further 13503 injuries that needed treatment and resulted in time off work in a year where motorcycle usage went down by 10%. ( Department of Transport 2011) It is predicted that 2011 is well on its way to surpass these figures and that means more Bikers and their families not only in emotional but financial distress & turmoil. “We may not be able to stop the RTA‟s but we sure as hell can try to help with the aftermath.” ( „Arse‟ – Founder BBRF )

Letter From BBRF Founder ‘Arse’ Earlier this year, after a spate of 6 Horrific motorcycle RTA’s over 3 weeks, in my local area alone, all resulting in fatalities, I decided to start the British Bikers Relief Foundation or ( B,B,R,F ). There was only one aim, to help support the families of Bikers killed and give practical and financial assistance to those seriously injured. We wanted to help assist by providing support with: • Emergency Grants • Funeral costs • Child care • Rehabilitation costs • Advocate services In one recent case a family couldn’t even afford a gravestone (that’s just not right!) In another case a bikers wheelchair broke, and was not provided with another one for over 2 months, leaving him house bound. I have just had enough of seeing fellow Bikers struggling, physically & financially. I wanted to help put situations like that right, and make sure they would not happen again by providing emergency funding, assisting with rehabilitation costs, giving practical advice and support. Really I can’t put it better than this, our aim is to Help Bikers in need!
