BBF:

YOUTH

SUPER

LEAGUE

In 2017, in consultation with our member clubs we launched our British Baseball Federation (BBF) Youth Baseball Super League. Our Youth Super League provided organised League play among our member clubs for free between April and August. We also provided assistance and support to clubs organising local play within their own club and league or through their own club initiatives (e.g., UK u10s Team Super Cup - where we raised funds to help finance their team trip to CZ).. In 2017, over 300 organised league games took place among our registered clubs which is a tribute to the dedication of our member clubs and volunteers to our sport; Plus our gratitude to BBF Youth Commissioner Michael Holm. We aim on extending our Youth Super League in 2018 and beyond, so contact us for more information.

BBF: 2 APRIL 2017 YOUTH MIX-N-MATCH DAY

We organised our 2nd April Opening Season event at Farnham Park. That is, we organised a Mix-n-Match Competition for youths of all ages and skill to take part in master instruction (i.e., we brought in Justin Stone - a professional coach from the US, who works with the Chicago Cubs in spring training to thousands of youths through Elite Baseball Training www.elitebaseballtraining.com ). Justin provided master coaching all day to the kids. In between games youths were organised in games to match their skill and age groups. It was a great day and free to all our members clubs. The aim is to provide more of the above and beyond in 2018 for free, so stay tuned.
