Design Consultancy In my current role at Camelion Design, and my former role at BoConcept Seattle, I took on clients for the purposes of not only selling them furniture, but to offer them personalized design advice on everything from space planning, material specification, styling, and pairing them with outside contractors that could help create a complete look that would tell a story about the personality and lifestyle of the people living in the space.
• In-home design consultations • Floorplans drawn to scale to show furniture arrangement, traffic flow and general space planning using programs Vectorworks, FloorDesign (Apple App), or BoConcept’s own 3D CAD program Homecreator.
• Digital design visuals and presentations created in Photoshop and Keynote (or Powerpoint) to be sure the client could understand the design concept and be part of the journey.
• Sourcing of all products and finishes, from furniture we sold, to wallpaper and window treatments we didn’t sell.
• Paired clients with appropriate contactors that could execute the design plans and acted as liason while the work was being completed.
• Final styling to add the finishing touches and customize final furnture layouts and storage solutions.

Stefanie’s light sensitivity made it hard for her to sleep so we went with luxurious velvet drapery with blackout capability as well as dimming the light colored walls with rich teal green grass cloth wallpaper and furnished the room with a new dresser, upholstered bed and fresh bed linens. Two ottomans provided more opportunity to incorporate the textiles Stefanie loves and offer flexible seating for dressing.
