PARK MASTER PLAN

Pleasant Hill has a 70 acre site that is corn field spilt by woods with ridges and valleys. With this site being the backyard to an Elementary School and development growing toward the site they are looking to turn this into a park.

19

THIS PLAN FROM GIS, IS TO HELP SHOW WHERE THE RIDGES AND VALLEYS ON THIS SITE ARE LOCATED. ALSO LOOKING AT HOW THE SITE IS LOCATED IN THE COUNTRY WHERE THERE IS NO DEVELOPMENT. THIS PARK IS BEING PLANNED WITH FUTURE DEVELOPMENT GROWING NORTH AND WEST OF THE SITE.

20

EXISITING PHOTOS OF THE SITE, THESE PICTUES SHOW HOW THE SITE IS A PARK ON ITS OWN ALREADY, AFTER MEETING WITH DIFFERENT STAKEHOLDERS IN THE COMMUNITY MANY DIFFERENT PROGRAMS HAVE BEEN DECIDED ON FOR THE 70 ACRE PARK.

21

THESE PICTURES ARE SELECTED TO REPRESENT SOME IMPORTANT HIGHLIGHTS BEING BROUGHT TO THE PARK. PHOTO ONE SHOWS THE BOARD WALK THAT CROSSES THE CREEK NEAR THE SOCCER FIELDS, PHOTO 2 DEMONSTRATES HOW CHECK DAMS WILL LOOK IN THE SITE WHILE REDUCING EROSION, PHOTO 3 IS THE UNDERPASS ALLOWING A CONNECTION TO THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, PHOTO 4 SHOWS THE GRAND LAWN GIVING A FLEX SPACE.

23

THIS DESIGN CONTAINS A DOG PARK IN THE NW CORNER, SPORTS AREA IN THE SE CORNER OPEN LAWN FOR FLEX SPACE AND PLAY, HIKING TRAILS THROUGHOUT THE WOODS WITH VIEWSHEDS ON THE RIDGES, AND WATER BASINS TO CONTROL EROSION WITHIN THE WOODS.
