So when you lose weight, they become more prominent. They initially appear as raised pink to purple lines longitudinally arranged over the abdomen, lateral upper thighs, inner arms, or upper breasts. With time, the purplish-pink color lightens and they appear as silvery lines on the skin, similar to a scar. Remember to seek treatment early, as it is easier to treat the pink marks than the white ones. There are lots of creams and other skin products that are available in the market for stretch marks but they may not be very effective. Regular peels , scrubbing and massages can help a little in preventing stretch marks as they increase circulation & keep the tissue elastic. There is no perfect treatment for stretch marks and it is not possible to completely get rid of them. I recommend a combination of micro needling and fractional laser treatments to help fade those marks away.

With my parents spending a lot on my wedding , I don't quite feel like asking them for more money to spend on my skin treatments just before my wedding. I have good clear skin but looking to brighten and refresh it with some home made masks before my wedding. Please suggest a few home remedies. How often should I use the masks?

Make a face scrub with wheat husk, a few drops of lemon and milk. Apply the scrub with gentle circular strokes and wash with normal water. Use the scrub twice a week to remove dead skin.
