Victoria Popoff & Devin Hill Married October 4, 2016

and Devin first met when Vtheyictoria both worked at Brenda Athletic Club. Devin was a certified personal trainer, and Victoria was the group exercise director and Pilates instructor. With many mutual friends, their paths crossed on multiple occasions. Victoria describes their attraction as irresistible: “Our relationship is like a magnet, a force we had no choice over.” During their first date, they both knew it was different, and the topic of marriage didn’t scare either of them. Their love progressed quickly, and they announced their engagement just a few months after their first date.

The couple knew they wanted a romantic wedding and reception on the beach but also knew everyone they were inviting could not travel in such a short time frame, so they planned three separate wedding events. The first was a private ceremony and brunch on her parents’ property, which would include family only. “We wanted to give our guests undivided attention in each setting. At our family-only wedding, we wanted to be respectful of our parents’ conservative and religious backgrounds,” explained Victoria. “With under 30 guests, it made for a small, intimate day that gave us quality time

with each family member as we had hoped for.” Long wooden benches created the aisle Victoria’s father escorted her down. She carried a delicate bouquet of dried lavender which paired nicely with her soft off-the-shoulder Ruca Lace gown by Watters that she found at Mira Bridal Couture. In a navy blue Hugo Boss suit, Devin watched every step she took. Victoria’s adopted brother, Alex, carried a hand-built Lego ring holder with Princess Leah and Hans Solo figurines inspired by Devin’s love for Star Wars.
