The wonderful aspect of nature is the therapy you can treat yourself to when life is becoming a bit much.Taking in earths natural beauty and absorbing sights and smells around you can help clear your head. Relaxing and taking a few moments each day to sit in the sunshine, listen to the birds and feel the wind blow past you will open your mind bringing peace and clarity.

Relax, you deserve it The constant hussle and bussle we face day in and day out to have our lives put together can take a huge toll on us. Stress can affect us emotionally, physically and mentally leaving us exhausted.

Each of these water activites are great. I highly suggest bringing someone alongwho has experience and knows the trail. Grab your friends and enjoy a nice day paddling up a creek. There are many local waterways that range in length, depth and stream current. Though, if you are a beginner or going with a large group I recommend a slow moving stream and taking the correct safety measures to ensure a fun, accident free trip.

Fun in the sun

The number of opportunities that become available in the spring and summer months are enormous. With the sun shining, water warming up and backyard cookouts becoming popular it is the perfect time to get out, be active and try new things. No matter if it’s a murky lake or a backyard pool, as the weather grows warmer and warmer the water soon becomes a hot spot. Getting a group of friends together and planning a day outside will make memories that will last a lifetime. You just have to take a chance and let your natural surroundings encourage and positively influence your mood!

Being out on the water gives you a sense of freedom away from society and will allow you to really connect with nature on a more personal level. Paddling a slow current is very relaxing and will change your perspective on a a lot of things in nature. It is a very up close and personal experience to wildlife. Check out some of my tips and advice to the right and remember, take it slow and have fun!
