Customised sample flatlay boards, showcasing colour palette and material selections for Henley
After discussing their brief, it became apparent this client wanted a modern home, and swayed towards a masculine style.
Creating a monochromatic colour palette of black, grey and white, an urban home with drama and contrast is achieved. Selecting a feature marbled benchtop in the kitchen brings the colour palette together, and adds a luxury detail to the home.
Building their first home together, this young couple had a clear idea of the style they wanted to achieve. With excitement, and a touch of anxiousness, these clients wanted to create an effortless home with pops of features throughout.
An overall neutral colour palette of whites, warm greys and light timber was selected, with feature black fittings throughout. A terrazzo-look tile in the bathrooms also acts as a feature to blend the overall colour palette and add texture.
A light airy home that isn’t the “typical coastal home”, this client had a clear vision of what she wanted to achieve for her holiday home. Adopting a light colour palette of predominantly warm whites, cream and taupe, a modest interior with a sense of openness is achieved.
Incorporating raw-edged tiles in pale pink and terracotta tones as a subtle feature to the kitchen splashback and bathrooms adds an earthy element to the space and helps ground the home.

The inspiration of this space comes from Buxton Real Estate’s sleek, modern branding. Utilising architecturally modern materials and finishes, a contemporary urban interior is created in line with the business’ image.
Designed around the use of 45 degree and 90 degree angles, the office’s overall layout accounts for appropriate traffic flow while maximising square footage. By creating a floorplan using such angles, a discreet sectioning of the office is created between the public areas towards the front and the staff areas at the rear.
Full height double-pane windows are incorporated to allow an abundance of natural light into the task oriented areas, giving a sense of space and openness.
Designed with simple geometry and architectually clean lines, carefully designed recessed linear lighting, feature drop ceillings and differentiating flooring materials subtly zone one area from the next.

A predominantly monochromatic colour palette of white, light grey and charcoal, with minimal additions of green is adopted from the company’s branding and marketing. The combination of these colours has purposely been selected to create a visually seamless interior with promotional materials on display.
With contrasting materials, simple colour palette, natural light, ample storage and a seamlessly integrated floorplan, this space holds multiple design elements while maintaining the underlying practicality of an everyday office.
