Motorized
The motorized dual intake hopper from Daltec makes it easy to connect two feeding systems and distribute feed from the same silo.
• Space-saving compared to two single intake hoppers
• The two sides can be configured independently of each other, e.g.:
• System size diameter (Ø38, Ø50, Ø60 and Ø63 mm)
• Motor type (400 VAC or 24 VDC)
• Different types of feeding systems
• Adaptable to different feed types/pellet sizes
The two systems that take feed from the same silo do not have to be of the same type or size.
For example, one side can be fitted with an adjustable 24 VDC motor and adapted to a Ø60 mm Multiphase portioning system, and the other side can be fitted with a 400 VAC motor and a simple dosing piston for a Ø50 mm filling system.

The two sides of the intake hopper are configured independently of each other in terms of system size diameter and motor type.
Adjustable bottom
The height of the augers above the bottom can be adjusted to suit different types of feed.
This reduces crumbling during feeding and minimises the risk of spillage and slow build-up of deposits on the inside of the feed lines. This promotes hygiene while reducing mechanical wear and power consumption.
