It’s time for one of the industry’s most highly regarded events, the Vegas Showcase! I’m not even going to sugarcoat it folks, I’m extremely proud and thankful for the support and friends that have fanned the flames of this idea that many thought was crazy and unattainable. To each and every person that has played a role in the success of this event, I thank you.
In a world and industry that sometimes prefers to highlight smoke and mirrors, this event has bucked the trend from day one. When you study the genetic offerings, investments made, and the success stories that follow the Vegas Showcase, it is undeniable that this sale offers as much bang for your buck as any in the country! Some of the most highly successful boars, profitable females, and banner hanging prospects have originated from this sale. The best news is, this year’s sale offering is directly in line with the elite status that previous events have already established as the standard.
Feel free to join us at the historical Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada, and join in on the fellowship by taking in concerts, the National Finals Rodeo, or roll the dice on your favorite gaming table. This event sets itself apart from all of the rest, and we would love to have you as part of the crew on sale day. For those of you that can not attend the sale in person, online bidding will be available via www.salering.live. If you have any questions or can assist in any way, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Respectfully,

PICK OF THE GILTS OUT OF THE “FRESH FIVE” - ALL GILTS DUE FROM 12/10 TO 12/20
68-11 “Ry” (Wide Awake x AC)
This would be the Reserve Grand Crossbred Gilt at the Exposition 2024. Coming from a litter of a LIFETIME, being a mate to Wake Up Call, Meant To Be, The “Dore” barrow that won NJSS and Team Purebred, The Wilkison Barrow that was Third Overall Cross at the Indiana State Fair. Service Sire: Lead The Way
25-8 Cross (Game Of Thrones x Peyton)
This would be a Direct Daughter of “Peyton” one of the more impressive individuals to look at from the summer of 2023. “Peyton” is responsible for the Grand and Reserve Barrows at the Ohio State Fair this year and “Baby Girl” the Grand gilt at the 2022 Ohio State Fair for Evan Henry and numerous other winners as well! Service Sire: Wake Up Call
24-3 “Scar” (Picture This x Tricked Out)
24-3 or known as “Scar” around here, is quite possibly my all time favorite show gilts/sow prospects we’ve ever had here!!!! Her Dam is “Baby Girl” and Granddam is “Peyton” She had a strong run last winter, in the show ring in winning shows for Eli. Her mates went on to win as well at the highest Level in being named Grand Gilt at the Texas Elite, 4th Overall Division 1 at OYE and she would also be a half maternal to “Standin On Business” the $42,000 boar prospect sold at the Established and purchased by Foote and Horsford. Service Sire: Wake Up Call
77-2 Cross (Van Gogh x Major League x “Peyton”)
Visually and on paper this mating has me as excited as any. Bred very similar to the Grand and Reserve Barrows at the Ohio State Fair last year, with a little added stuff in between. Service Sire: Wide Awake
46-4 Light Cross
Littermate to Shake The Frost the $50k PT boar that Upperhand and TRU purchased from us, along with another mate gilt hitting the backdrop for the Hartzell family last winter. Service Sire: Meant To Be
A rare chance to purchase this opportunitiy, Beyers Farms is offering pick of the January born Duroc gilt crop this year! In last year’s edition of the Vegas Showcase, Brett and team offered this listing for the first time. That lot produced the Hartzell family’s Champion Division 1 and Fourth Overall Duroc Gilt at the 2024 Indiana State Fair! Beyers Farms needs no introduction in the Duroc ring with sustained success at the highest levels and coming of arguably their most dominate year yet! This is a rare opportunity for you to not only own a genetic powerhouse, but to get the FIRST crack at a loaded January group. Beyers Farms is expected to farrow 11 January Duroc litters in 2025, which includes the Grand Overall Gilt at the 2024 Exposition bred to Name Brand and the dam of the Grand Overall Gilt at the 2025 Expostion bred back for the same mating. This lot is setting up to generate a royal-flush opportunity!

PICK OF THE GILTS - YORKSHIRE AND DUROC GILTS BORN IN DECEMBER
After yet another show season of sustained success in 2024, it would be an injustice to the Thompson Brothers crew to attempt to summarize their influence on the Yorkshire and Duroc breeds. In addition to the success that their customers have experienced over the years, Thompson Brothers Genetics continues to set the industry standard for breeding stock within both breeds. As the winner of this lot, you will have full access to all of the Yorkshire or Duroc gilts in the December crop! The value in this lot cannot be overstated because of the opportunity brought within the show ring and the farrowing crate! Last year’s offering of this lot generated a summer of success including:
• Many Time Champion Duroc Gilt and Top 5 Breeding Gilt ‘24 OH Pigs Summer Circuit
• Champion Duroc Gilt ‘24 OH Pigs Summer Circuit

LINDSEY DORE’S GILT
(Donnie Ray x Boiling Point)
December Born Duroc Gilt
(Wide Awake x AC (Quite Frankly x Cinderella)
GREAT GRANDMOTHER Cinderella (Kinda Big Deal x Hold My Beer 71) Grandmother of the 16 Litter (Rapunzel)
The 16 litter Wake Up Call pigs have been the most anticipated litter of the 2024 into 2025 Showpig farrowing season! With that being said, she farrowed about 10 days ago having 1 male and 8 females born all alive and it looks like she is going to wean 8 of them. This mating in my eyes is a perfect match! Because of the presence of wake up call and the look and shape of the 26-13 Backslap x Rapunzel Sow(Belle)! Also as an added bonus this mating brings together two very dominant sow lines as in the AC line at Keplinger Farms and the Rapunzel line at Titus Showpigs! This is also a mating that puts Cinderella on both sides of the pedigree which doesn’t hurt your chances at all to get to the backdrop! With that being said, this mating should work well in the show ring and also in the breeding pen and the farrowing house! Rapunzel has grossed over a $100,000 in four litters sold and I can count on one hand how many pigs I’ve had to assist with in the farrowing process. In Belle’s first litter sired by Blowin’ Smoke she produced 7 pigs that were very well received and got some great homes! One of those blue barrows that I sold has already been grand overall twice! He was Grand in ring B&C at the Amarillo By Morning show in Amarillo, Texas!
(BIG PAW X JASPER) - BRED TO FACTS AND DUE DECEMBER 22ND
2024 Ohio State Fair
Shown by Maddie Caldwell
The Vegas Showcase has become one of the premier events of the winter and is one we always look forward to participating in! We appreciate the invite again this year and feel we have a truly special offering to contribute!
16-5 a is bred Yorkshire gilt that comes with a winning story and successful background! She herself, was named 5th Overall Yorkshire Gilt at the 2024 Ohio State Fair for Maddie Caldwell! Her pedigree is stout as it reads Big Paw X Jasper X Times Up. In 2022, the Jasper dam was the Reserve Grand Overall Gilt & Champion Yorkshire at San Angelo and Champion Yorkshire Gilt at both Fort Worth & Houston! A littermate to 16-5’s mother followed right behind her sister being name Reserve Yorkshire Gilt at Fort Worth, San Antonio, and San Angelo. The mother of 16-5 has also produced the 4th Overall Yorkshire Barrow at the 2023 IN State Fair.
• To wrap up this incredible pedigree, the Times Up grand dam comes from Kilmer and was part of the most impressive litter of Yorkshires we’ve ever seen that yielded the Grand Overall Gilt at the 2020 National Summer Show! Littermates to her also found their way into the Top 5 of their division as well.
• 16-5 mated to Facts, the $65,000 Cobb boar from the NSR Draft, could be an absolute game changer and strong chance for a strong ROI!
• This one certainly stings to offer up but when it comes to Vegas, one has to take the chance to bet big! Truly spectacular offering from ABF!

DOMINANT is the best way to describe the Allen / Newcomb crew. They AI’d every mature ewe (325 hd) except donors on the farm to lamb first week in January. Their pick last year brought $30k for the January Ai ewe lambs to Rule and $30k for March ewe lambs to Begalka. The opportunity that they are offering is truly staggering. Their ability to generate stock who has had overwhelming influence on the sheep industry rivals the best amongst species. Reach out to Ty and Cooper with any questions. These guys brought the heat this is absolutely EPIC!
Ewes will be bred to: 2.0, Navajo, Kraken, Unicorn, Frog, Pond Water, Contagious, Compass, King Kong, Sunshine, Chachow, High Ceiling

There have not been folks raising high end show sheep longer than the Middlesworth crew. It is astounding what they have been able to accomplish over the years, yet continue to keep their program in the front of the pack. Jalene was pumped about the idea and wanted to offer pick of the ewes or wethers out of their early December age group out of a set of Hippo, Unicorn, and Chewbacca sired yearling ewes. Awesome lot from incredible people.

SIRE: SWITCHBLADE SAM (RIDE TIME X FREESTYLE X 15197) | DAM: 21334 DONOR (HAPPY DAYS X 78)
These embryos would be 3/4 sibs to Trey Goretska’s Champion D3 at the American Royal, and 4th Overall at the Iowa State Fair. This young donor has definitely been climbing the ranks, making a keeper Cowboy Way ewe in year one, and her unique Ride Time wether that was shown successfully all summer an into the fall by the Gorestka Family. Early reports on the Switchblade Sam lambs have been nothing short of phenomenal, and the ones we have at home look to have some huge upside potential- no doubt looking like he’ll be our lead FF buck heading into ‘25 breeding season. Foolish to sell some embryos on a mating we haven’t even seen yet. These should be some ultra white featured, cool looking creatures.
THANK YOU!
