VIBRATION DAMPING FOR BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION For many years BPI has been further developing vibration damping materials and sound protection for several industries, and the unique, own produced VibraFlex® has long set new standards for various fields of applications. Thus areas such as building, railway, machinery and HVAC, a.o. have experienced the positive effect of VibraFlex® as the material has proven to be an excellent choice for applications with extensive dynamic compressions. One of the late projects was a - partly demolition and partly renovation - of one of the colleges of the University of London. The building accommodates approximately 1,200 beds in a seven-story structure, and the immediate proximity of the location to the underground rail line places considerable demands for vibration damping.
