Evening of praise and worship Tonight at 6 pm Join us tonight at 6 pm, as the BPBC worship choir and orchestra premieres its new worship project, "Unto the Lamb." This will be an evening of praise and worship featuring songs from our new choir CD as well as other BPBC favorites. The new worship CD will be available for the first time on this special night. Preorders of "Unto the Lamb" are available through the Worship Ministry office and will be available on June 27. Cost for the CD is $12.

Why should I come to THE 8:08? Our 9:30 and 11:00 services are full, so we are looking to balance our three morning worship services by launching this newly emphasized service on August 8. And as an incentive, each Sunday morning you can treat your family to a time of fellowship before THE 8:08, as we share fresh Krispy Kreme doughnuts and coffee in the foyer. How do I sign up for THE 8:08? We need many in our church family to commit to sacrifice their seats at the 9:30 and 11:00 worship hours and come to this exciting service. Will you be a part? You can sign up in the foyer on Sundays or online at

What is THE 8:08? THE 8:08 is an exciting, first look worship gathering every Sunday at Blackshear Place. Combining the extraordinary worship of the BPBC choir ministry with a praise team and the energetic preaching ministry of Pastor Jeff W. Crook, this service launches Sunday family worship in a fresh, new way, at 8:08 am.

The Men’s Ministry of Blackshear Place Baptist Church, in partnership with Sportsman’s Outreach, presents Meet the Pros Night! While Lake Lanier will be the host site for the prestigious Forrest Wood Cup fishing tournament, you can be right in the middle of the action as professional anglers visit Blackshear Place for this unique event. Join us for barbecue dinner, seminars, exhibits, prizes and the main event with the professionals themselves. Tickets are $50 for a table of six or $10 for individuals.

Thank you for worshipping with us today! All of our guests are invited to meet Pastor Jeff after the 9:30 & 11:00am worship services. He would like to personally thank you for being with us today. The Guest Reception area is easily located just outside the set of doors on the piano side of the stage, then to your right.

Life @ Blackshear Place CALL THE CHURCH OFFICE AT 770.534.7058 OR VISIT WWW.BPBC.COM FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES AT BPBC. Evangelism Explosion Classes Begin August 11 If you are a certified Evangelism Explosion trainer, please attend an informational meeting scheduled for Sunday, June 27, immediately following the evening service, in Pastor’s Guest Reception. Calling All Ushers As we prepare for the launch of our new 8:08 worship service, we will have a brief informational meeting today, at 4:50 pm, in the Kidz Theater. VBS Outreach We had hundreds of children on our campus for VBS, and many of their families don’t have a church home. We will have a special table at outreach for these families beginning at 4:30 pm tonight and continuing all day Monday.

Pray for these summer mission trips What would you give for an app that helped you make good decisions, improved your relationships with others and kept you from making big mistakes? The Book of Proverbs brims with wisdom for everyday living. Its author, King Solomon, was the wisest man to ever live, but even he had to learn many lessons the hard way. Join Pastor Jeff for this seven-part teaching series as we “download” the lessons of Proverbs.

The Missions Ministry of Blackshear Place exists because we believe we are to be actively working toward fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. We are excited about our 2010 Mission Adventures that God has led us to be involved in. Please pray for nearly 60 BPBC members serving throughout this week in Spain and Montana.
