Overview The Transitional Living Program (TLP) provides housing and transitional living support for young adults in Washington County who are homeless or at risk of experiencing homelessness, yet are committed to preparing for a successful adulthood. Boys & Girls Aid provides the necessary support, skills and resources to ensure that youth achieve independent living. Assistance includes housing, skill-building classes, case management, Tri-met passes, educational support, career planning and subsides, counseling and health care services. TLP host families provide emotional support, mentoring, advocacy and a positive family environment as youth acquire the skills to achieve independent living.
Youth Served Boys and Girls Ages: 16 -21 Length of Stay: up to 24 months Supervision Requirement: 24/7 sight and sound supervision is not required. Reimbursement Rate: $650 per month plus a $200 food card monthly if needed * Host families must live in Washington county and near public transportation.
