About Us We are three sisters, Lucy, Anna & Sophie, who followed a dream to set up a gifting business sending ‘hugs in a box’ to friends and loved ones when you can’t be there in person. We started our company four years ago, inspired by our mum who suffered a meningioma brain tumour in 2010. We found it extremely hard to find gifts that weren’t flowers during our mum’s ill health. Friends and family would say to us, “can you just give your mum a big hug” and that’s when we had our lightbulb moment, and from that day on our journey spreading hugs and happiness began. We are incredibly proud that our Box of Hugs gifts are used for many sentiments and occasions throughout the UK, and are excited that we have been able to expand our offering to include employee gifting. With the increased focus on well-being in the workplace, reward, recognition and making employees feel valued, we believe that a ‘hug in a box’ can help businesses connect with their employees and clients. We are very proud to be a corporate partner of The Brain Tumour Charity, raising money and building awareness of this fantastic charity as they strive towards finding a cure for this terrible disease. We love what we do, and we hope that shines through in everything we do.
