The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association sanctioned event drew a good crowd and provided two days of quality entertainment. “We had a great crowd and the rodeo was good,” said event organizer Gary “Roach” Hedeman. Hedeman named the event after his friend,

long-time Bowie resident and Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame member, the late M.H. Henry. In addition to providing entertainment, all proceeds from the event will go to benefit multiple youth organizations in the community. “These groups made up our entire workforce,” said Hedeman. “Thanks to their hard work, we will be able to pay all the bills and give the kids some money too.”
