We’ve made it easy for you to personalise your new home with a range of different facades - from striking modern architecture to more traditional, classic styles. You can also customise your floorplan to make it your own, with selected design options, including a guest suite, 5th bedroom or even a ground floor master bedroom for double storey designs.

As part of your new build journey, you’ll be assigned a highly qualified Interior Designer who’ll provide expert advice and guide you in your vision to create a home you’ll love living in.

As you embark on your home building journey, it’s our mission to ensure the process is as straightforward and enjoyable as possible.

And a big part of that is being upfront about what to expect at every stage of the journey.

When you build with Boutique Homes, you get one price upfront, that includes our premium specifications and quality brands. And that cost won’t change unless your preferences do.

From there, our trusted experts will be with you every step of the way as your new home comes to life, keeping you informed of developments, and guiding you through the entire process.

*Boutique Homes will provide upfront fixed site costs for all blocks with available engineering plans. For blocks without available engineering, including knockdown rebuild projects, a site cost allowance will be provided with fixed site costs at HIA contract signing (subject to the land being titled). Pricing based on the estimated title date and fixed for up to 18 months from the date of the Preliminary Works Contract (PWC) and payment of initial deposit. The prospect of building your own home can be intimidating, but it can also be one of the most empowering and rewarding decisions you’ll ever make. That’s the message from Geelong-based customer, Tania, who built the Barcelona 28 with Contempo façade.

Tania first heard about Boutique Homes from her friend seven years ago. An interior design enthusiast, Tania spent many weekends on the display home circuit over the years, but it wasn’t until she entered the Barcelona 28 display home that she knew she had found ‘The One’.

‘I fell in love – the plan was well thought out, spacious, light and bright. Having the theatre and office located at the front of the house also suited my business needs, keeping clients out of the living areas,’ said the freelance make-up artist.

A solo build journey was all worth it for Tania when she got the keys to her new Barcelona 28.

The Marseille design ticked all the boxes for Sean and Clara’s first home.

Hailing from South Korea, married couple, Sean and Clara, wanted their first home to be the quintessential Australian abode that had them dreaming of a sandy coastline. Together with their dog, Osman, they found their perfect home with the Marseille.

As first home buyers, Chloe and Daniel were unsure of what they could or couldn’t afford when first starting the home building process. Upfront, fixed pricing helped them with peace of mind, along with the standard inclusions.

“The home came with all these inclusions so we didn’t have to put a lot more money into it” says Chloe. “The fixed site cost was really important to us” said Daniel. “It was a big plus because we knew what we were up for from the start”.

A plumber by trade, Daniel was adamant in checking the tradesmanship of each display home they visited. “Daniel’s a plumber so he wouldn’t let me pick a house until he looked under every single cupboard and every pipe and tap to make sure it was finished just the way he’d be happy with” said Chloe.

Beyond the fixed upfront pricing and the incredible service of their build supervisor, Aimee says the ease of customising their new mid-century modern abode to meet the needs of their family was exceptional.

“If we wanted to change something – be it remove a wall, create a larger mud room for the kids, or put in an extra linen cupboard –it was really affordable with Boutique. We could personalise the house to our lives and the way we wanted to live, without it costing an arm and a leg,” says Aimee.

Spacious living spaces as standard has also paid dividends. “My favourite room would have to be our own bedroom. It’s a very large room – probably the biggest we’ve ever had – and I’ve just painted the feature wall behind the bed. Once the sheer curtains went up it just felt like home,” says Aimee. “I love watching the sunrise over the open space of the estate every morning.”

A wide variety of bespoke design upgrades and quality advice from the Boutique building team meant Tom and Dana were able to create a holiday feel in their own backyard.

“Pillarless bi-folds meant we could integrate the indoor and outdoor areas, and we also installed a heater. So rain, hail or shine, we can pull up the café blinds and create an additional living space to use year-round,” says Tom.

Having lived in the property for over four years now, the quality of the build speaks for itself, says the couple, who have now referred five of their friends and family to Boutique.

“We have heard so many stories from friends and acquaintances who went with different builders, who were having issues just two weeks after moving in,” says Dana. “Our build with Boutique has been amazing. And if any problems come up, we are confident Boutique will resolve it right away.”

Andrew and Katrina wanted to live in the Newport / Williamstown area with daughters Eliza, 5, and Clara, 3, but kept missing out at auction. So they got creative.

“We decided to look at a house that wasn’t great so was cheaper than others we had been bidding on,” Andrew says. After working with Boutique to choose a design that fitted into the narrow but well-located lot, Andrew and Katrina won the auction, and then used Boutique’s Knockdown Rebuild service to create their perfect bayside home.

While they’d liked several of Boutique’s “balanced, contemporary” designs, they finally chose the Airlie 33, with a Hamptons facade – “a no-brainer for the Newport area.”

Renee & Bernard always thought their Knockdown Rebuild project would end up in the hands of an architect, until they found ‘The One’ with Boutique.

“The moment we stepped into Boutique’s Grange we loved it! We loved the expansive entryway with high ceilings and the open-plan living with separate living spaces for our family. Once we walked into the master bedroom, we knew it was for us,” says Renee.

“It also came down to budget. We felt it ticked most of our wants and needs, and the inclusions we got for the cost just didn’t compare to a private builder for the same size home.”

When choosing a builder, Renee says being pragmatic about how you will use the space is as important as choosing a design that you love.

“Visit display homes, make comparisons and know what inclusions are part of your base price, so you can consider what upgrades can be worked into your budget,” she says.

“We were quite specific about what we wanted in a plan, particularly in terms of flexibility of spaces with so many kids. There needed to be room for them to play and spend time together, but also to be alone,” explains Ben.

“When we eventually found the Montauk, we fell in love and we knew it was going to work.” From their grand alfresco and separate games room, to the inclusion of a fifth bedroom and premium hardwood floors, Boutique’s superior inclusions and flexible upgrades were vital to creating the bespoke home of their dreams.

“Many of the features that we were looking to upgrade with other builders were included as standard with Boutique – particularly in terms of the kitchens and bathrooms,” says Mim.

“We found the process of altering plans to suit what we were looking for easy to manage. Boutique were extremely helpful in making the home perfect to suit our family.”
