The pieces are based on members of the Colorado community who have been the unsung heroes of the COVID-19 crisis and their unique experiences during the pandemic. In classic Phamaly fashion, the stories will come to life with vitality, respect, humor and heart, demonstrating that even during the darkest of times, we can find light in human connection and storytelling. Hosted by No Mas Chuecos and Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition (CIRC), community members will meet in Roosevelt Park to demand a pathway to citizenship for the more than 11 million undocumented immigrants. At the same time as the march in Longmont, other Colorado advocacy organizations will join Mijente and others across the country to conduct their own, virtual independent Truth and Accountability Forum on the country’s immigration enforcement arm, calling on Biden to take immediate administrative action, including an immediate halt to all deportations.
