Purpose of Work Experience Program Students and young specialists: acquire practical experience in applying modern technologies; understand that proper organization of agrarian business makes it really proďŹ table; learn about French culture; improve their English and French;
French Agrarian Company: satisďŹ es its necessity in workforce; hires low cost workers with theoretical knowledge and basic practical skills; receives access to information agrarian resources of Ukraine represented by our organization.
Purpose of Work Experience Program Agrarian Educational Institution: enhances prestige of higher educational institution by undertaking international activity; raises interest of applicants to agrarian specializations; stimulates students to study better.
Embassy of France and UAYF: development of Ukrainian-French relations; formation of European views of Ukrainian youth on farming; fostering in young people European democratic values; formation of potential of specialists for national agrarian companies.
Work Experience Program «Young Farmer» implies that interns gain practical experience in their specialization at agrarian companies of France under the supervision of company’s expert.
Duration of on-the-job training is 6-18 months. Period of practice is approved by the educational institution and depends on speciﬁc character of production of company-training place.
targeted at students and young specialists with following specializations: Technology of livestock products production and processing, Technology of crops production and processing, Veterinary, Mechanization of agriculture, Organization and technology of farming, Management of organizations (Agrarian Management).
Interns receive payment for their work in amount speciﬁed in respective collective agreements in relative branch of production (normally, 60-85% of salary of the qualiﬁed specialist). Company-training place shall provide accommodation to the intern.

Interns Selection and Training I
We select young specialists and students of agrarian educational institutions with academic progress above average.
Candidates complete additional courses depending on speciďŹ c character of their on-the-job training (Technology of livestock products production and processing, Technology of crops production and processing) and professionally oriented English (agriculture) and basic French.
When candidates complete courses of training they pass tests in application of relative agrarian technologies and English (or basic French) and receive CertiďŹ cate of UAYF.
UAYF provide students with free of charge educational handouts and video materials in Technology of livestock products production and processing, Technology of crops production and processing, profession-oriented English, basic French etc.)

Work Experience Program through related French organizations; attraction of companies that might be interested in providing place of training for Ukrainian interns; facilitating quick receipt of permission to hire foreign interns from relative state authorities by interested French companies; facilitating quick receipt of visas by interns from relative state authorities.
