―I Hope This Message of Inspiration Finds You Well‖ The seed of wonder is cultivated by the act of grace, and to fertilize is by the favor you grant. — Noah McArthur Please consider the offer below. I hope that you will find it helpful.

Your Thought of the Day: "The first duty of society is to give each of its members the possibility of fulfilling his destiny. When it becomes incapable of performing this duty it must be transformed." - Alexis Carrel There is a quality of leader in us all, yet there is a quantity of capability in the few that take advantage of the quality that lies within. - Noah C. McArthur

Your Word of the Day: capacious (kuh-PAY-shuhs), adj.: Having capacity; able to contain much; large; roomy; spacious; extended; broad; as, a capacious vessel, room, bay, or harbor.

"In the capacious recesses of his mind." - Bancroft It is my hope that the inspirational message today has found true heartstrings to encourage. Make today a wonderfully, exciting, exceptional and outstanding day, for after all, that is the kind of Savior we have.

Be blessed, be encouraged, and be productive at all you do, and may the manifestation of God's spirit bless your heart and mind.

―Five (5) Lessons to Make You Think About the Way You Treat PEOPLE‖ 1 - First Important Lesson – ―Cleaning Lady‖ During my second month of college, our professor gave us a pop quiz. I was a conscientious student and I ad breezed through the questions until I read the last one: "What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school‖? Surely this was some kind of joke! I had seen the cleaning woman several times. She was tall, dark-haired, and in her 50s, but how would I know her name? I handed in my paper, leaving the last question blank. Just before class ended, one student asked if the last question would count toward our quiz grade. "Absolutely", said the professor. "In your careers, you will meet many people; All are significant. They deserve your attention and care, even if all you do is smile and say "hello”. I've never forgotten that lesson! I also learned her name was Dorothy.

2 - Second Important Lesson ―Pickup In the Rain‖ One night at 11:30 p.m., an older African American woman was standing on the side of an Alabama highway trying to endure a lashing rainstorm. Her car had broken down and she desperately needed a ride. Soaking wet, she decided to flag down the next car. A young white man stopped to help her, generally unheard of in those conflict-filled days of the 1960s. T he man took her to safety, helped her get assistance, and put her into a taxicab. She seemed to be in a big hurry, but wrote down his address and thanked him. Seven days went by and a knock came on the man's door. To his surprise, a giant console color TV was delivered to his home; A special note was attached... It read: "Thank you so much for assisting me on the highway the other night. The rain drenched not only my clothes, but also my spirits; Then you came along. Because of you, I was able to make it to my dying husband's bedside just before he passed away. God bless you for helping me and unselfishly serving others." Sincerely, Mrs. Nat King Cole.

3 - Third Important Lesson ―Always Remember Those Who Serve‖ In the days when an ice cream sundae cost much less, a 10-year-old boy entered a hotel coffee shop and sat at a table. A waitress put a glass of water in front of him. ―How much is an ice cream sundae", he asked. "Fifty cents‖, replied the waitress. The little boy pulled his hand out of his pocket and studied the coins in it. "Well, how much is a plain dish of ice cream", he inquired. By now more people were waiting for a table, and the waitress was growing impatient. "Thirty-five cents", she brusquely replied. The little boy again counted his coins. "I'll have the plain ice cream", he said. The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill on the table, and walked away. The boy finished the ice cream, paid the cashier, and left. When the waitress came back, she began to cry as she wiped down the table. There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, were two nickels and five pennies….. You see, he couldn't have the sundae because he had to have enough money left to leave her a tip. 8

4 - Fourth Important Lesson ―The obstacle in Our Path‖

In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the King's wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the King for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the stone out of the way. Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. After the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse laying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the King indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway. The peasant learned what many of us never understand… Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition.

5 - Fifth Important Lesson ―Giving When it Counts…‖ Many years ago when I worked as a volunteer at a hospital, I got to know a little girl named Liz who was suffering from a rare and serious disease. Her only chance of recovery appeared to be a blood transfusion from her 5-year old brother, who had miraculously survived the same disease and had developed the antibodies needed to combat the illness. The doctor explained the situation to her little brother, and asked the little boy if he would be willing to give his blood to his sister. I saw him hesitate for only a moment before taking a deep breath and saying, "Yes, I'll do it if it will save her.” As the transfusion progressed, he lay in bed next to his sister and smiled, as we all did, seeing the color returning to her cheeks. Then his face grew pale and his smile faded. He looked up at the doctor and asked with a trembling voice, "Will I start to die right away.” Being young, the little boy had misunderstood the doctor; he thought he was going to have to give his sister all of his blood in order to save her. ■■■

We don't give to be blessed, we give because we have been blessed. The most remote deed done is due to the greatest gift ever given. So the next time it seems as though what you're giving may be small, remember the story of “A Glass of Milk.”

A Glass of Milk” One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry. He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water. She thought he looked hungry, so she brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it slowly, and then asked, “How much do I owe you”, he asked. "You don't owe me anything", she replied. "Mother has taught us never to accept pay for a kindness”, he said; "Then I thank you from my heart”. As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, but his faith in God and Man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit. Many years later, that same young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease. Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation. When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes. Immediately, he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room. Dressed in his doctors’ gown he went in to see her. He recognized her at once; He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day he gave special attention to her case. After a long struggle, the battle was won. Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval. He looked at it, and then wrote something on the edge, and the bill was sent to her room. She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all. Finally she looked, and something caught her attention on the side of the bill. She read these words... "Paid in full with one glass of milk." (Signed) Dr. Howard Kelly Tears of joy flooded her eyes as her happy heart prayed: "Thank You God that your love has spread broad through human hearts and hands." There's a saying which goes something like this: Bread cast on the waters comes back to you. The good deed you do today, may benefit you or someone you love at the least expected time. If you never see the deed again, at least you will have made the world a better place; and, after all, isn't that what life is all about? It has never been the aptitude or the quantity of what we give, but the quality, character, dignity, and integrity that encompasses our gift. We give, and give, and give, and sometimes it goes unappreciated, unnoticed, and even taken advantage of. So do we now just stop giving….of course not. We make a decision to either make us bitter or better. I suggest be better! Be better at giving, better at going, and the end result will be better at glowing. Your giving will be a blessing to all you meet, in word, in thought, and in deeds. Therefore, let us give gifts like “Milk”... it does the body good. Everybody needs a source of strength. Your gift that you’re giving can and will serve as a blessing to those you come in contact with. Please allow it to be the synergy for strength and the capacity for a character that they too will become a blessing to someone else. 12

Thank God for a Brighter Tomorrow…Today! Yesterday........ have you ever given much thought to it? Yesterday, so full of futile, fatal , and seemingly final opinions, life altering disappointments, and career changing moments. Is it that yesterday carries such horror, such trauma, and such chaotic disbeliefs, or is it that yesterday is just that.....Yesterday? The Past, a chapter already read, door just closed, or even fear overcome; and yet we still have hope. Or do we? There are things that make us believe in the unbelievable, imagine the unimaginable, see the invisible, feel the inspirational, and think the impossible; Yet one incident of the slightest inconvenience will deter our faith, dampen our spirits, redirect our path, alter our course, break our momentum, spoil our possibilities, and cloud our hope in the “One” thing that made us believe from the beginning. That one thing is "actions of people"; After all, are we not all cut from the same cloth; the fabric of truth, honesty, integrity, dignity, loyalty, and responsibility? All of those are factors from our Creator. Unfortunately, we attempt to recreate ourselves into people we really are not. With that said, I am "A WIP" (not WIMP), “A Work In Progress”. I want to be “More‖; All there is, for all He has created me to be; to see More, be More: to become More, and to live beyond the mundane, and love because miracles never cease. I love more today than ever before, and I am continuing to grow because of the love that has manifested itself in me to be God's man... not my own. After all, that is my Design. My design is to be her Destiny. My destiny is not predicated on my ambitions for her, but rather predicted by Him who has made me, with ambitions to lead, love, be loyal, and lure her to higher heights or strength, serenity and security. This assures success, happiness, wonder, and amazement for my future, my family, my finances, my friends and my fellowship! You pray for me, as I pray for myself. Pray that my deliverance would come and be sure, soon, and secure, totally satisfied in the Sanctity of the Savior. I know my deliverance to levels of excellence and exceptional wisdom is imminent. Thank you for loving me beyond my faults, and for believing in me beyond all my failures and my dark days. Thank God for a Brighter Tomorrow…Today!

God K.N.O.W.S. Have you ever felt He just wasn’t listening, or maybe you felt He just wasn’t there? Ever you felt alone in a room full of people and it appeared no-one was even there. Perhaps you have found yourself in the midst of a dilemma and he was winning by an edge. Just when you figured it was all over, there came trial’s twin trouble, along with triplets’ chaos, confusion, and controversy, all joined in from above the hedge. Has it ever occurred to you that the more you ask in prayer, the more “it seems” your prayers go unrecognized? The irony is that you keep asking, hoping for an answer that has grown and become magnetized! The results you want you never get, and the promotion is passed onto someone less qualified. In the stock market you thought was safe, still took a hit, only to find out that the company you vested all your life’s savings to, have lied. Now scars of resentment, anxiety, frustration, mixed emotions, fear, worry, and revenge, all go from reverence to rage. Your heart now has become the sounding board of futility, and exhilaration that dance on your spirit, and use your soul as the stage. Everything you were ever taught about the Creator is not beginning to add up, but rather have an everlasting affect that truly shows. Then an Epiphany covers you like the morning dew covered grass. You learn a lesson in life, like passing third grade class, that it is such an experience only God Knows. The Epiphany: God K-Keeps N-New O-Opportunities’ for W-Wisdom and S-Sanctification Daily. The deeper the feeling of disgust, displeasure, demise, detriment, disease, death, or deprivation, demands and deserves, the deeper and more intense the opportunity for His Wisdom and Sanctification to rule and reign, for now and forevermore in the same heart, spirit and soul that has experienced such futile feelings of emotional challenges. It is for this reason that God Knows. He knows our hearts, our minds, our spirit, and our intentions. After all, He made us with the fabric of faith, love, and spirit being our most vital dimension. Therefore, “He Knows”, affords Him even a greater capacity to determine prognosis and deliver immediately. It’s not enough for Him to know us, but also love us. He knows us so much, that makes His love for us to become greater, and deeper, and broader than anything or any substitute that mere mortal minds may attempt to fathom. So for all that I’ve felt in times of loneliness, and have taken the amount of life’s futile attempts to stop me with its life altering blows, I’m glad beyond words to express my unadulterated happiness that I can serve, live, hope and give because after all…God K.N.O.W.S.!!

The Love I Lost...I Had! It was a cold, wet, rainy, and dreary day in the deepest parts of me. Along came someone and lifted me up from the deep, dark dangers of mediocrity. He helped me to find my way again to search for more, and strive for

success. There were moments I never felt judged, ridiculed, or ostracized; in-turn He helped me to release and relieve myself of unwanted and unneeded stress.

Days turned to weeks, and weeks to months that passed in an instant, due to where my journey with this experience was leading me to; into realms of excitement, pleasure, strength, healing, amazement, spiritual

awareness, and some foreign places I never really knew. Before I could accept this entire good and wonderful thing happening, that I prayed for and asked that He would send someone like this my way, I allowed the manipulative voices of mediocrity to steel my vision and blind my way into thinking that it couldn’t be real,

repeatedly saying “it’s not real, it’s fake, it’s here, down here in pity and folly is where you’ve been, and is where

you need to stay”.

And before I knew it... there it was again, that void of emptiness missing now, making me believe what I wanted He wasn’t supplying; constantly not answering when I called; seemingly to avoid me, all I could figure is He must be

lying or something of the sort. Little did I know what I thought was Him, was really me fighting with the depth of demons tearing and toiling deep inside my spirit and cold, cold heart. To make me feel better, I responded with self - incriminating events; allowing episodes of self destruction to now be my bed partner and give me what I didn’t need, only to settle for what I really didn’t want; to satisfy a feeling that “I”, and only “I”, created for sure demise.

Before I knew it I was now living a lie and talking in self-incriminating mores code; patting me at what I thought was revenge, which ultimately became a cocoon of deceptive, diabolical, and degrading disguise.

It wasn’t long before He reappeared, so I thought, while falling into a world wind of thundering temptations. Just what I feared most then started happening; He was truly my friend, challenging me to new heights of spiritual

stardom and successful expectations. Now I know how Judas must’ve felt after betraying the one who loved him so because now that I look at it, I did the same thing settling for, rather than holding on; I insisted on letting go. But I’m glad to know He still checks on me, considering the choices I made; taking the low road over the high. It has now created a life’s lesson of shade for me of direction and focus, once again before I die. For after all of this, I can now feel relieved once more, and challenged again, and no longer feel self-pitied or bad. Sure enough, I must live with the dignity I compromised with destruction, knowing without a doubt…. The Love I Lost.... I Had!

THANK GOD FOR YOU!! God knew what I needed when we met, and with you, I know the best has not happened yet; for

you are like gravity pulling the things to surface, and causing a grip on what is now a new hold…. A hold on values, ethics, understanding and principles that has somewhat seemed to have grown cold. The warmth of your spirit has no match for the comforting heat of your heart. It brings new meaning to growth, and propels you to an evermore convicting start…. A start that will be lasting and meaningful in the most effective, and life altering way. I just ask God for a more anointing hand on, and in your life; and that around me you will stay. Rather the influence of your presence, or the one day absence from my sight, I can say with conviction and live with the addiction that you’ve become a compelling factor of my day and night. Thank you again for all that you are, and for all that you have done; for it is because of you and your Spirit, your God-given Spirit, that I “truly” feel like number ONE!!!

THANK GOD for YOU!!

―Christian Fearlessness‖ So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. (Hebrews 13: 6) “Fear”….the door to depression, disgust, dissatisfaction, and most importantly, death. Both spiritual and physical deaths are all remnants of FEAR. In the presence of enemies, tough tasks, difficult decisions, or even faithful following, we are haunted and taunted by this dreadful demon. Lord, fear is the first thing that covers me. Uncertain about the future, and timid of the present situation around the world, almost makes me too afraid to examine my past. But I am thankful for your promise that tells me I have nothing to fear; especially my enemies. Psalms 37:1 teaches ―Fret not thyself because of evildoers, for they shall soon be cut down.‖ The phrase “Fret Not” appears some 365 times in the bible, ironically enough, there are 365 days in a year. WE HAVE NOT ONE DAY TO FEAR ANYTHING, OR NO ONE, AT ANY TIME!!!! What can I lose that is not already in Your hand? I am secure, safe, preserved, protected, kept, and guarded from every attack. Thank You for Your protection. Keep me forever safe in the Hollow of Your hand, and close to the Bosom of Your Blessings. With that Lord, I will live in Christian Fearlessness and Relentless Faith!

Thank God for You Mom!!!

God knew what I needed when I broke your womb, from the moment you looked at me, with a smile of perfect creation, as I lay across the room. You have been my gravity, pulling things to surface, while creating character, faith, and a moral fiber for me to hold. You’ve always been what I’ve always needed; never hesitating assuring me with a level of resilience that would not allow me, under pressure, to fold. A hold on values, ethics, understanding and principles that have somewhat seemed to at moments, grow cold. It has been since birth, the warmth of your spirit has an exceeding match for comfort, strength, zeal, along with the fight to stand strong and bold. The heat of your heart was just the start of all you planned for me; it brings new meaning to keep me dreaming to accomplish all that God has ordained for me. It’s the growth that has propelled me from you to an evermore convicting start, that always reminds me of when I was held close to you, as I listened to the beat your heart. It’s a beat that to me will forever be lasting, meaningful, victorious, and so triumphant too. A conscious beat that has made me more aware, more deliberate, and more faithful, while to my own dignity, pride, and integrity remain faithful and true. It is with this invitation, that I live every moment of life’s great expectation to be most effective and consistent in life’s altering way. So I thank God daily for a more anointing hand on, and in, my life because of your life and that around me, present or absent, your presence will forever stay. Rather it be with influence of your presence, or the one day being absent from my sight, I can say with conviction and live with addiction, that you’ve become my compelling force and factor of both day and night. Mom, thank you again for all that you are, and all that you have done. For it is because of you I live faithful and true; due to your Spirit, your God-given Spirit, that I “truly” feel like number ONE!!!

Thank God for You Mom!!!

―A Mother’s Love‖ It is amazing how life comes full circle. There are events that occur from the time you're an infant to a toddler; some events are just not as important. One thing is for sure, you will always desire and demand the affection and affinity, along with the attention, of your mother. Your confidant, your councilor, your co- hart, and your critic; She's your best friend, and when you're doing what's not required, she’s "your worst enemy". Without fail, she never treats you any different, nor does she ever stop loving you, encouraging you, trusting you, believing in you, rooting for you, and never does she want anything less than the best for you. As time would have it, “Father Time” creeps up and takes her away from your very presence. What do you do? Where do you go? How do you continue, or better yet, who will continue? Who will be your number one fan? Who will be your listening ear? Who will be your shoulder? Who will be your protector…. who, who, who, who? Her absence is so depleting, that it's almost as if life is no longer worth living. Preparing now seems for naught, and succeeding appears unattainable. The feeling for fighting seems futile, and the need to contend seems countless. And just when you get to the point of no return, there's a nudge from out of nowhere that hits you so hard, it wakes up the sleeping spirit that has laid dormant for months, weeks, even years. You can hear her voice, but she's nowhere to be found. You can feel her physical presence, yet you can't touch her physical face. You can taste her cooking, but she never stepped foot in your kitchen. More and more it becomes obvious that Momma has been there all along. She has never stopped loving you, and never stopped hoping for you. She has never stopped wanting the best for you, and never stopped believing in you. Her name has gone from Momma to "H.S." (Holy Spirit). It is apparent by all the support, compassion, well-wishes, compliments, congratulates, hugs, kisses, and the many, many, many wonderful notes of them, that are filled with the same H.S. You finally recognize that those that have been around you also feel and have been filled with Momma, which is H.S.

An Epiphany happens! You now better understand what is meant by, "I will send you a comforter" to do for you in moments of despondency and despair, that ONLY which the Holy Spirit can do... MAKE IT ALL BETTER!! It becomes more evident what the Psalmist meant; "I was young, now I'm old. Never have I seen the righteous forsaken, nor it's seed begging bread". The assurance that Momma's legacy will pass on to you, matched by the fulfilling of the Holy Spirit, from others to shower you with all of that Momma would have done. This is my opportunity to say to all of you Mothers (Adopted, Surrogate, Step, or otherwise), “Thank You.” Thank you for your prayers, your favor in me, and your believing in me daily. This day, may there be a Crown placed on your head for your honor. May there be Pearls about your neck for filling all I need. May there be Rings on every finger, for forgiving me time and time again. May there be a Gown adorned for you; for truly you are an example of Grace. Finally, may your feet wear the most desired shoes, for it was through your daily prayers and example that Salvation… I found? Just know without a doubt that ―Mother's Day‖ is only a soft representation to what your example of excellence has meant. I wish to say that God has given a gift like no other when he blessed us with gift like a Mother. Her unfailing temperance and nonjudgmental spirit is at the top of the list, to want to get with it. Her soft spoken words are matched by her actions to do, going the extra mile over and beyond just to make it through. Perseverance is her motto, and Resilience is her name. Security and sanity will always be her claim of fame. In your absence or your presence, you will always be the greatest gift from heaven to enable, prepare, support, challenge, compliment, and forever congratulate me. I've stood on a mountain, and watched and watched an eagle fly. I've walked through the valley and seen the awesome presence of a dove. Yet, never have I seen anything that matches the wonders of "A Mother's Love".

Happy Mother's Day! 25

―Giving In Faith‖ But when thou maketh a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind, and thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee; for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just. (Luke 14: 13-14)

As this season unfolds, let us, as God’s chosen vessels, do something extra for those who are truly less fortunate. Our gift to them is far less than the gift He has already given to us. Their lives are waiting to be touched by the beautiful gleams of God, which might be the only glimpse of God they see, through you and me!

27

―A Change of Heart‖ The Lord is gracious and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. (Psalm 145:8) Oh Lord, I wish I too was slow to anger. I confess I am too quick to say harsh words, or hand out condemnation. My treatment of others is truly deplorable. I would be in deep trouble if You treated me the way I treat others. How gracious I am that love and compassion are in the Hallmarks of Your attitude toward me. I am asking and inviting that type of spirit and attitude toward others. Lord, as this New Year begins, take this anger, complacent behavior, and judgmental attitude from me; and create in me a clean heart that I may serve THEE. My desire is to have …… A Change of Heart!

28

―Here We Go Again… New Year’s Resolution‖ How often do we here it over and over again; the same thing repeated; the same actions shown, and nothing changes. New Year’s Resolution! Many men and women alike will be making bogus, outlandish statements, false commitments, and not one effort to bring to fruition the resolution. Resolution; act of resolving or determining power of, holding firmly to a purpose. My question to you is “How did you do with your resolution last year? When one makes a statement to resolve, it means a concentrated effort, and deliberate actions will be put forth to accomplish all the goals set. Spiritual maturity, better attendance, more devoted time with God, more committed to the cause of Christ, teach more classes, and bring more souls to the Lord, in short, BEAR MORE FRUIT. According to John 15, we are to be fruit bearers for God’s Kingdom. It requires two ingredients: 1. Devotion; personal time, intimate time with the Lord as your friend. 2. Sacrifice; prioritize committed efforts to be more for the Lord; to bear fruit for His church; ultimately learning to Abide Him. At the point of committing to the Lord, the Church, and to be Loyal to Local Congregation, your life will be filled with FRUIT, ABUNDANCE, and BLESSINGS. Pray for the Power of The Holy Spirit; I bow my knees unto the Father…that He would grant you to be strengthened with might by His Spirit. (Ephesians 3:14, 16)

There is no greater joy that excites God more than to give to us what He already has in store. My prayer is that as a Church, and God’s children, we would make this the Year of Plenty, and Harvest! May God Bless You, and Bless You Well.

29

―Follow the Leader‖ Leader; person or thing that leads; person who is well fitted to lead. Where are the leaders for God? Will God’s next leader please stand up? Titus was a young person in a very difficult parish. He was a pastor in Crete, a small island south of Greece. The people of Greece were known for their lies, their laziness, and their cruelty (Like some of our Churches today). It was a place that needed a church, but was it a place in which you could find any leadership for the church? This was the challenge in front of Titus. It was also one of the reasons Paul wrote so much to Titus. It was also one of the reasons Paul wrote so much to Titus about the qualities of a leader. Most churches still use Paul’s criteria today when they are choosing their leaders (pastors, deacons, or elders). Here is how Paul believed leaders should behave: For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in this present age. (Titus 2:11-12) But avoid foolish, and genealogies, and arguments, and quarrels about the law because these are unprofitable and useless. (Titus 3:9) Therefore, let us as God’s children, men in particular, forever be mindful that we have a GREAT responsibility in leading this Nation, our Families, and most importantly, His Kingdom. When we get in line with God, then all of those coming behind, find it less difficult to..Follow the Leader!

―God, My Portion‖ My flesh and my heart faileth, but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever. (Psalms 73:26)

Without you oh God, how could I face troubles? Alone, I am so weak, prone to sin, apt to fall, too weak to stand, and unsure of the solutions to my problems. But my spiritual and physical “failure” does not have to be permanent. You give me strength to stand, and the spirit to continue when problems persist, disaster strikes, and troubles assail me, by filling my heart with hope. As I trust in You, strength fills my entire being. All that I am to be, and all that I desire, is tied to You; Lord my Helper, and my Strength. Whether I face hard times or good ones, happy days or sad, You are forever the focus of my heart…God, My Portion!

“A Loan He that hath pity upon the poor, lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will He pay him again (Prov. 19:17)

During these trying times for those less fortunate than we, let us forever be mindful and give, share, and pass on blessings; for that is A Loan to God, and He will REPAY WITH MANY BLESSINGS!!!

A LIVELY HOPE! Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to His abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. (1 Peter 1:3)

I know that hope comes in many forms Father. There is grudging hope, reluctant hope, tentative hope, and even doubtful hope. It is after all, in my nature to hope, even when hope has failed me before, and it will surely do so again. But You, through resurrection of Your Son Jesus Christ, offer me a “LIVELY” hope; a hope that never disappoints or fails. When my human hopes turns to dust, Your promise abides: “For God so loved the

world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16)
