CONCEPT Cradle to Cradle cradle to cradle is a sustainable approach to the design of products and systems. It suggests that industry must protect and enrich eco systems and nature’s biological metabolism while also maintaining a safe, productive technical metabolism for the high quality use and circulation of organic and technical nutrients. The concept is based on these main design principles: waste equals food-eliminate the concept of waste; use current solar income;respect diversity and anticipate evolution. We have built energy efficient, CO2 neutral, autonomous building, C2C goes beyond all this. The goal is to go further and create buildings that recover nutrients and allow for material flow management.

1.Under non-flood condition the house sits on a hollow concrete foundation which rests on pole set into the ground.

2.Inthe event of a water-level rise the hollow foundation, which can be used as the house cellar, makes the house buoyant enough to float.

3.Two mooring poles allow the house to rise without drifting. 4.Light or timber construction helps to keep house stable. 5.Utilities and fresh water are supplied to the house by flexible pipes unaffected by flooding. 6.As the water subsides the house lowers gently back to its original position.
