FAMILY AND FRIENDS FESTIVAL FRIDAY, 18 MAY, 2018 Join us to celebrate Bond’s 29th year since Foundation! This is a wonderful, casual family evening to enjoy a picnic dinner under the stars and see the sky explode with colour at 7.30pm for our annual fireworks display. There will be face painters and balloon artists for the kids, as well as live music. Mulled wine will be available for purchase for the adults. Time

FROM IDEA TO IPO SATURDAY, 19 MAY, 2018 PRESENTER: Mr Daniel Abrahams, Director, Transformer Program See how an entrepreneurial team mobilised to rapidly take an idea through an IPO, disrupting some of Asia’s largest markets. A business executive with more than two decades of entrepreneurial leadership experience, Daniel Abrahams has held senior executive roles with Superloop Limited, Aurizon, Energex and Suncorp Group. ROBOTS IN THE BRAIN SATURDAY, 19 MAY, 2018 PRESENTER: Professor Irini Giannopulu, Head of Psychology Professor Giannopulu is a world-leader in cognitive neuropsychology. She has a neuropsychology practice in Paris and is the Director of iCAM (Interdisiplinary Centre for the Artificial Mind). Formerly a Professor at the Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris, she is particularly interested in the interaction between the human brain and technology, including robots. Don’t miss this thought-provoking workshop about the intersection between artificial intelligence and the human mind. Time

DIPLOMACY, BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT SATURDAY, 19 MAY, 2018 PRESENTER: Mr Rohan Titus, First Secretary (Political), Australian Embassy, Kabul Have you ever wondered what a Diplomat really does? How to go to war? What counter terrorism is? What peacekeeping really means? Then don’t miss this presentation! An international relations expert, Rohan has over 23 years’ experience working for the Australian Government and has in-country residential experience in Afghanistan (current post), Brunei, India, Jordan, Papua New Guinea and Sri Lanka. He also has detailed headquarters-level experience for Iraq, the Levant, Libya, Malaysia, South Africa, Western Europe and Zimbabwe. Time
