Here’s a look at some of what’s going on in March. The newest addition is Bebe’s Eatery, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner using only the freshest ingredients to create delectable Kosher sandwiches, salads, wraps, pastas and sides. From Kosher to Easter, City Fresh Market is offers a chance to win a three-foot high chocolate Easter egg weighing in at a whopping 15 pounds of chocolate. The drawing runs through Thursday March 28. No purchase necessary. Delightful Pastries Easter selections include, lamb cakes with buttercream, cupcake baskets, rum and raisin yeast babka ($7.49) and Italian ricotta cheesecake. EJ Sushi offers samples of some of its most popular maki rolls (Godzilla, shrimp tempura and volcano) Saturday in March. Fumare Meats will be featuring Pascal Ham. These locally produced hams are 1 to 2 pounds each and are a customary European tradition. Klay Oven Kitchen will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with chicken green masala, boneless piece of chicken, simmered in fresh cilantro, mint and spinach sauce served with rice and Nan bread. On Thursday, March 14- Chef Peter Kappos of Greek Islands Restaurant will team present a cooking demo from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. On Saturday, March 23 bring the kids and Hop the Bunny Train 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March 23. The fun-filled ride will be followed by an Easter Egg Hunt at 1:30 p.m. Additionally, get a chance to meet the market’s special guest, the Easter Bunny. Now in its fifth year in Chicago at the Apollo Theater, “Million Dollar Quartet,” continues through April 28. Premiere Performances.. The Den Theatre’s world premiere production of Don Nigro’s postWWII noir play “City of Dreadful Night” directed by ensemble member Ron Wells, runs through March 16. The Ruckus Theatre and Tympanic Theatre’s world premiere co-production “Brewed,” by Scott T. Barsotti, is at Theater Wit through March 24. The Midwest premiere of Anthony Del Col and Conor McCreery’s “Kill Shakespeare”, directed by Anderson Lawfer, runs through March 26 at Strawdog Theatre’s Hugen Hall.
