Cuts And Corsets Know a guy who needs pampering? The folks at RazzleDazzle Barbershop in Coral Gables are banking on it. The business, being touted as “Your Vintage Neighborhood Barbershop,” offers clients an Old School shaving experience, replete with Rat Pack-inspired decor, pretty female barbers wearing corsets (featured in a RazzleDazzle pinup calendar) and free welcome shots of Brown Sugar (whiskey) or White Sugar (vodka). “There’s nothing like my barber shop anywhere in the world,” says owner Elena Linares, who owned eight Supercuts franchises in Puerto Rico and South Florida. “We truly have a Disney production going on for the gentlemen. It’s all about them from the moment they walk in.” She hopes to franchise her concept, which she says the market has been missing. “I knew there was a void in the industry for men specifically,” says Linares, who opened her shop last January and plans to open a second on Miami’s Brickell Avenue. By the way, the first haircut for young boys is free, says Linares. “Then they’re hooked for life.” oddball
