They ride in as modern-day white knights on black horsepower presenting as saviors of struggling communities – giving “new hope” – of jobs, benefits, “gifts and grants” (there is perhaps another word that might describe these and they come delivered in a brown paper bag) – for there is truly a dark side we all need to understand - and more importantly know how to avoid.
