Stone Grove was sold multiple times over the years. In 1950, it was sold to a developer who subdivided the land. George Wesley Higel, the son of George and Abbie, purchased the house and moved it to the area sometimes known as Higelville, on Laguna Drive. In 2005, the house was sold again.
