Off-Stage, Behind-the-Scenes Sponsorships Yakima Symphony Chorus Sponsor, $10,000 or 2 @ $5,000 The Yakima Symphony Chorus is led by chorusmaster Justin Raffa (left). The chorus performs with the symphony multiple times during the season. Sponsorship supports the preparation and artistic growth of the chorus, including chorusmaster and rehearsal accompanist compensation and purchase/rental/preparation of choral music. Sponsorship benefits include a pair of full season tickets, attending a working chorus rehearsal, a meal with Mr. Raffa and may be customized to, for example, include small ensemble vocal performances.

Orchestra & Choral Music Library Sponsor, $10,000 or 2 @ $5,000 The Orchestra Library plays a critical role in the process of bringing musical performances to the stage, from the earliest plans for a given season through the final rehearsals for each concert many months later. Long before a season begins, as the music director is planning programs and repertoire, the orchestra librarian is researching whether performance materials are already in the music library, or if not, what editions are available to be purchased or must be rented from a publisher. Some music is in the public domain and easily obtainable. Other music can be rented for a nominal cost up to thousands of dollars. Still other pieces must be purchased. Sponsorship benefits include a pair of full season tickets, a private tour of the YSO’s library and a meal with Maestro Golan.

Multi-Media Enhancements Sponsor, $5,000 Through this sponsorship, a performance becomes enhanced as images and captions provide “real time” program notes and visual prompts and cues to both guide and stir the experience. Sponsorship benefits include a pair of full season tickets and a meal with Maestro Golan.
