Helping You Help Others with Working Wonders Charity Auctions ADESA is proud to assist dealerships and charities by offering an easy-to-use vehicle auction service through its “donate a vehicle to charity” program. The way it works is simple: the vehicle being donated can be dropped off with ADESA in any condition — or transportation for it can be arranged. Any costs incurred by the donor for transporting or detailing the vehicle are deducted from the net proceeds of the eventual sale amount. The chosen charity then issues a tax receipt based on the final amount to the donor of the vehicle. No minimum reserve price is set and the normal ADESA seller fee is waived for
donated vehicles benefiting registered charities. The charity benefiting is responsible for promoting the program, incorporating ADESA logos in all advertising materials, and acknowledging the role of the dealership providing the vehicle.
Dealerships simply need to fill out the appropriate donor-signed forms, provide the vehicle registration and assign the vehicle for auction. ADESA does the rest — helping you help others!
