the key pieces (included in venue hire): tables and chairs: lovingly supplier by our friends at ll furniture let us know what you need, we’ll sort it. And the best bit, these guys will give all our clients a 10% discount. Alternatively of course, bring in your own.

full cleaning of venue waste & recycling rubbish bins for client use 2 x sectional brass benches on castors (2.5m 1.6m) (you can move this as you wish)

music: we’ve got a BOSE stereo, you can connect an iPhone to, but if you’re after a full AV offering you’ll have to bring this in.

to note We are located in a residential area, council limits require us to have music off by 11pm and the premise vacated by 12pm. Book an evening/full day with us and receive a complimentary vase display to the value of $80* Additional hours: The hours specified above include any pack in/pack out requirements. Should you require additional hours please refer to additional hours above. ** Security: We want you to have a safe and secure event with us. For the benefit of all parties all evening events blush on cascade require a registered security person on site for a minimum 8pm-12am. This attracts an additional fee of $160 + gst. blush on cascade rental agreement and contract CONDITIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF HIRER Please read the material below to make sure all parties understand the requirements of providing for everyone’s safety and keeping blush on cascade a well maintained and safe location for future use. DEPOSIT - This signed contract along with full payment of the ‘Venue Hire Fee’ for blush on cascade only is payable to secure the booking.

BOND - A $500 + GST bond is required.

PAYMENT - Required 7 days prior to the function via cash, internet transfer, EFTPOS, Visa or MasterCard are accepted. A 3% bank surcharge will apply to processing all credit card payments.

CANCELATIONS / TRANSFER - In the event of a cancellation or postponement the Venue Hire Fee is 100% transferable at the same value to any date 12 months in advance as available at the time of application. No refunds of the Venue Hire Fees will be paid, as your agreement to rent blush on cascade on this date may cause the loss of additional bookings or business. Reserved food and beverage catering, along with rentals and/or purchases necessary to produce your event may not be refunded.

CAPACITY blush on cascade, has a capacity of 100 pax. OBSERVANCE OF BOOKING PERIOD - The Hirer must observe the period booked and leave on or before the agreed time.

SMOKING – Smoking of tobacco and vaping is permitted outside only. USE OF FACILITY - The Hirer and guests shall behave in an orderly manner and fully compliant with applicable laws. The Hirer is responsible for their guests. blush on cascade reserves the right to remove any people from the premises who have or are likely to cause injury, damage or behave inappropriately, at the sole discretion of the blush of cascade.

CARE OF PREMISE - The premises and facilities must be left in a reasonably clean and tidy condition. The Hirer will be responsible for any expense in connection with repairs, damage, breakages or loss of equipment.  Any repairs will be based on quoted costs for repair.  Inappropriate use of the fire safety equipment resulting in any liability or loss to blush on cascade will be passed onto the Hirer for reimbursement and immediate forfeit of the bond. INSURANCE – LIABILITY - The Hirer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold blush on cascade, its landlord, building owners, officers, employees, and agents harmless of and from any liabilities, costs, penalties, or expenses arising out of and/or resulting from the rental and use of the premises. CONDUCT - blush on cascade has a zero drug use policy. Disparaging remarks or any type of physical violence will not be tolerated and will be cause for immediate expulsion. Hirer and guests shall use the premises in a considerate manner at all times. The Hirer and guests are not permitted to take into or use the following substances within the venue and grounds:  Fireworks or flammable substances, Chemicals deemed toxic or dangerous, Prohibitive substances. Conduct deemed disorderly at the sole discretion of blush on cascade management shall be grounds for immediate expulsion from the premises and conclusion of the rental period. In such cases no refund of the event costs or bond shall be payable.

BATHROOM + KITCHEN CLEANING - It is the sole responsibility of the Hirer or it’s third party caterer to check the bathroom, the overall premises, replenishing hand towels and will be available for questions or to respond to needs or issues that may arise at any time.

MUSIC, ENTERTAINMENT & NOISE - blush on cascade is a private residence (not a night club). Any entertainment is to finish at midnight. Volume levels are at the discretion of the management and as a guideline shoud not exceed 85dB. Restriction of noise level is a requirement of our Rescourcee Consent with limits of 40dB at our bourndary. PROPERTY - LOST AND FOUND - blush on cascade takes no responsibility for personal effects and possessions left on premises during or after any event. However, every attempt will be made to return any recovered item to its rightful owner. All items of property owned by the Hirer and their guests must be removed from the venue by the agreed pack-out time.  The Hirer is not permitted to remove  blush on cascade  property without written consent. Furniture may be moved to other areas inside venue if pre-arranged.

LOAD-IN/LOAD-OUT AND STORAGE - Load-ins and load-outs must take place within the designated timeframe given by blush on cascade. If there is an event prior to yours a timed delivery will be required. blush on cascade is not responsible for checking in or handling any items brought into the venue. Deliveries and collections are permitted between the hours as defined on the hire form.

BYO BEVERAGE - to be delivered on the morning of the function unless otherwise previously agreed with blush on cascade. CLEANING, TRASH AND EQUIPMENT REMOVAL - blush on cascade will be in a clean condition prior to your event. A standard cleaning fee is included in the Venue Hire Fee. Any additional cleaning costs will be on-charged for soiling of the venue by any guest. EQUIPMENT is to be delivered on the morning of the function and must be removed immediately following your event unless agreed in writing with blush on cascade. DECORATIONS - Fixing points are located throughout the venue. Any additional fixings must be approved by blush on cascade. All decorations and their fixings must be removed afterwards. The Hirer should have the proper insurance cover. blush on cascade make every event a special and welcome experience. Therefore every effort will be made to allow the Hirer to prepare decorations reflecting their creative requirements. We ask that only the staff of blush on cascade rearrange and move any furnishings, including, but not limited to, artwork, lamps, antiques or seating. Any damage will be charged after your event.

CANDLES & NAKED FLAMES must be contained in approved and appropriate candle-holders or glass votive to prevent wax spills and must meet NZ Health and Safety regulations.

SAFETY - Fire exits must remain clear of obstructions. Due care must be taken by the Hirer and guests. Children are to be supervised at all times.

ANIMALS - No pets or animals are allowed in the premises without written permission from blush on cascade. BREACH OF CONTRACT  – blush on cascade reserves the right at their sole discretion not to approve any application or to cancel the agreement at any time for any breach of policy or procedure. Failure to comply with the requirements of this policy will be regarded as a breach of agreement, giving the venue the right to cancel and or seek for recovery of any amount due. 

ENTRY AND EXIT - The Hirer agrees that blush on cascade staff may enter and exit premises during the course of the event. A representative of blush on cascade will be on site during your event and will be checking periodically with the responsible parties to ensure everything is running smoothly.

SPECIAL LICENSE – A special license to extend the hours and/or music (noise) limits may be applied for. Any additional fees applicable will be met by the Hirer.

CATERING STANDARDS - All catering companies must first be approved by blush on cascade no less than ten (10) days prior to your event. Insurance — all caterers working at blush on cascade are required to have a valid certificate of Liability insurance on file. Kitchen Policy — The kitchen will be provided in a clean condition and the space should be returned to a clean condition immediately following your event. A final inspection will be conducted by the Hirer and blush on cascade at the close of your event. Caterers must remove all trash, composting and recyclables from the site.


SECURITY - Some events will require a registered and approved security company. These requirements will be discussed with the hirer, with final discretion to sit with blush on cascade.

BREAKAGES will be charged to the final bill.

LAW - The Hirer agrees to comply with all applicable Local & National laws and shall conduct no illegal act on the premises. The Hirer agrees, for everyone’s safety, to ensure alcoholic beverages are consumed in a responsible manner. blush on cascade reserves the right, in its exclusive discretion, to expel anyone who in its judgment is intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or who shall in any manner do or participate in any act jeopardising the rights, use permit, or insurability of blush on cascade or the safety of its staff, guests, or building contents.

PROMOTIONS AND COPYRIGHT - Professional imagery of blush on cascade can be provided for your use in promotional purposes surrounding the event.

HEALTH AND SAFETY - The Client will be aware of, and comply with, any relevant obligations imposed on them under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (the “Act”). The Company (venue) has not and will not assume any duty imposed on the Client from time to time pursuant to the Act arising out of this engagement.  

As a client of the BLUSH FLOWERS LTD. (the company), you must abide by all inhouse Health & Safety requirements, policies and procedures. Any deliberate act that causes harm to an employee or guest may incur fines under the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015. A signed copy of our Health & Safety Policy must be signed before the commencement of your event.  A full disclosure of any Hazards on site will be completed as part your acceptance to hold an event with us.
