Single Row of Big Chip LEDs In contrast to hundreds of small chip LED packages common with other LED systems, Peak Optics™ was designed to work optimally with a single row of replaceable large LED chips (diodes) to provide the highest optical intensity. This approach also eases longterm maintenance concerns and affords an easy upgrade path when new chips become available in the future.

Total Position Flexibility™ XP Series LED UV™ Modules take full advantage of Peak Optics™ to deliver unprecedented LED UV energy as efficiently as possible. And because the XP modules are not dependent on a fixed working distance target, they can be moved freely to cure at different mounting heights or different positions in the same machine (e.g. Interdeck or Delivery positions in a sheetfed press).

Peak Optics™ AMS's patented optical system employs a Dynamic Collimating Mirror to efficiently collect 100% of the base energy from a single row of Big-Chip LEDs, and then redirect 100% of this energy to dynamic targets in a "column" below the emitting window. Regardless of where the sheet or web is located, all of the available energy will be delivered at the highest possible intensity to ensure secure curing.

MultiWave LED™ wide spectrum output is made possible by Peak Optics™, as light is collimated and blended both along the focal-axis as well as the light-delivery axis in perfect uniformity. This means that LEDs of different wavelengths can be blended with ease in a single lamp unit. MultiWave is important for the next generation of LED curing at multiple wave-points.


Peak Optics™ System The Highest Intensity and Efficiency for Secure Curing Every Time

AMS Peak Optics™ for LED UV curing are entirely unique and help generate LED intensity at up to 10x greater than UV arc lamps, while consuming just 50% of the electrical energy. In fact, a single XP Series LED UV™ module with Peak Optics™ can do the curing work of up to 6 traditional UV lamps. Compared to other LED UV designs, Peak Optics delivers greater curing efficiency, is easier to maintain, and will not fail to cure when the sheet or media moves out of focal range (e.g. in a sheetfed delivery).
