English Text The Italian partner may apply for a tax refund of up to 15 % of the Italian production share. Prerequisites are that the film project must be in possession of an Italian certificate of origin and 80 % of the authorized Tax Credit must be spent in Italy. In order to profit from the German or Austrian national and regional film funds, it is invariably necessary to have a partner on board the project with an office or branch office in Germany or respectively Austria who applies for the funding and meets the funding requirements with the project. That said and with only very few exceptions by certain regional funders, co-productions are more than welcomed and are gladly supported.
