EVA KATZLER became aware that kids had forgotten—or had never known—the simple joys of getting a little messy with their hands when she worked in a summer camp. She came up with Florentine and Pig as a way of encouraging children (and their grown-ups) to rediscover the happiness that comes with cooking, eating, and making things together.
