Want your country To be a dump? It is very important to recycle because if not your country will end up as a dump. Many effects such as landfills, Greenhouse effect, ozone problems, Hazardous waste, groundwater, pollutans, and pollution.

What could happen if we don’t recycle? If we don’t recycle some effects that are harmful to the earth are going to happen soon or later. Some effects are:

 Landfills: Landfills are filling fast and most of all are closing down. All of the waste goes into the landfills and pollutes. Each year Americans throw away 1.6 billions pens, 2 billions razors and blades and 225 millions of tires each year.  The Greenhouse effect: it keeps the earth warm when it is working good but when not it is harmful to earth. In the last 2 centuries human had increase the total amount of carbon dioxide 25% from the burning of the fossils.  Ozone: Ozone, the primary component of smog, is a gas formed when nitrogen oxide and hydrocarbons combine in sunlight. It protects us from the sun's ultraviolet rays. If we

don’t recycle we could waste our ozone layer.

 Groundwater: Like we don’t know groundwater and know how vulnerable it is we are careless. Gasoline and other harmful liquids have been allowed to leak from underground storage tanks into the groundwater supply. Groundwater is polluted by runoff from fertilize fields and industrials areas.

What are some ways to prevent all this effects ?
