Modern Living in a Historical Residence

The History of Wayne & Waldorf The Wayne & Waldorf apartments were designed in the late 1800’s. Architect W.H. Archer, who also designed the Trinity Episcopal Church, at 371 Delaware Ave., originally designed these buildings with Italian style exterior and projecting bay windows. The plans for this historic landmark and the photos of the architectural drawing above were published in the article titled “The New Waldorf ” in The Buffalo Courier (now known as The Buffalo News) in January 1897.
