TH E VISION
An imaginative spring wedding captured the rich history of the estate through soft watercolors,
lush flowers and a touch of whimsy. As the talented team of wedding professionals set out to find inspiration, they stumbled upon a grand mural that left them awestruck. This mural, painted by the very first owner of the estate, is what inspired the lighthearted palette of watercolor pastels. The landscape and gardens blurred the lines between tradition and playfulness. This unique juxtaposition was reflected through the floral design, fashion and décor. “We felt it was very important to honor the original owner and landscape architect of the estate, Horace Brown and Ellen Biddle Shipman. Their love for this estate is still very evident. Working with wedding clients at this magnificent property is made very easy because of the cohesiveness and beauty of the architecture, landscaping and overall setting,” said Emily Herzig of Emily Herzig Floral Studio.
