Dear Fellow BLINKer,

BLINK is the largest light, art, and culture event of its kind in the nation. The event transforms the Cincinnati region into an outdoor art phenomenon with large-scale projection mapping, murals, and interactive light sculptures.

This year, we’d like to provide these cool activities that invites you to not just observe the installations but become a part of the celebration downtown and at home.

Paddy Cake, Baker’s Man

Add the cake mix to the pan then add the vitamin mixture from Step 2 as swirls. Put your cake in the oven for 20-24 minutes.

While the cupcakes bake make your icing and add some of the vitamin mix to it as well.

Grind 100 mg of Vitamin B2, add tonic water to your liking then set aside to add to your juice recipe and mold.

Add your filled mold to the freezer and let sit for at least 6 hours or overnight for maximum frozen goodness.

Make your juice recipe that will be the main flavor of the popsicle.

Pour your juice recipe into the mold then slowly pour your vitamin mixture to the top of the juice so they do not combine and lays on top.

Find THE Image

Find a digital image you and your guests may relate to. Could be a organization logo, common phrase stylized, or the house pet.

The simpler the better so the image is of quality.

Prepare the Space

Lay your table covers, paint supplies, and cleaning supplies for your guest to begin the experience.

A cleaner alternative could be markers, crayons, or coloring pencils.

The website takes about 3 minutes to prepare the printable image.

Go be creative!

Perfection is not necessary here. The numbers are guides. If you feel inspired, change up the colors or go outside the line.

The Goods

All items to make your playdough could be found in kitchen already. The additional items as glow paint can be found at your local art supplies store.

Get everyone’s favorite color in a single pack.

Add The Wet Ingredients

Mix in each ingredient one at a time starting with the oil. After adding the water mix a little at a time continuously until the dough becomes thick and moldable to your liking.

Once dough is set add your food coloring and glow in the dark paint.

While water is boiling, in a clean and dry bowl add your dry ingredients.
