2014 RETREAT Con|ci|erge (kon-see-airzh)

OUR ORGIN mid 16th century (denoting the warden of a house, castle, prison, or palace): French, probably based on Latin conservus 'fellow slave’.

OUR FUTURE 21st century (denoting the carer of the household, residential building or corporation). Probably based on English ‘life saver’.
