PIANO Designed for children as young as 5, the piano program at BlackRock teaches students keyboard, performance, and general music skills in a fun, relaxed environment. Classes are limited to five participants so students receive sufficient attention from the teacher, while developing teamwork and listening skills. Each level of instruction should be taken for three sessions, preferably from September to June. BlackRock’s piano program is meant to be taken in sequence over a five-year period and covers all levels of experience. We highly recommend that students have access to a piano or keyboard to practice at home between classes. All students must bring their own personal headset and ¼ inch adaptor to class.
