FEES

All exhibitors including 4H Members must pay an $8 Exhibitor’s Fee. Entry Fee: $6 per class - $10 per Stake Class (Jackpot) ENTRY PACKAGES MUST BE RECEIVED WITH FEES BY AUGUST 23, 2014. Entries will be accepted after August 23, but will be subject to a $40 Late Fee. NO ENTRIES ACCEPTED AFTER AUGUST 27 Exhibitors cancelling their entries after the entry closing date: August 23 shall forfeit their entry fees – unless producing a doctor or veterinarian release due to injury or illness. Proof of BC Horse Council Membership is required for ALL competitors as this is a BC Horse Council Recognized Event. Copy of HCBC membership card and proof of age for riders under 18 (except Barriere & District Riding Club members) must be attached to entry form INCOMPLETE PACKAGES WILL BE SUBJECT TO A $10 FINE..

STABLING

A limited amount of stabling is available FOR EXHIBITORS ONLY. Outdoor uncovered pens $5/day, covered stalls $15/day. Covered stalls are limited, if one is requested but is unavailable the difference will be refunded and you will be placed in an outdoor pen. One horse only per pen or stall. No tack stalls available.

NO STALLION STABLING AVAILABLE. Stabling must be reserved by calling or emailing Darcey Woods. Fees must be paid on entry form. Refundable deposit of $25 must be received with Entry Form and Fees – SEPARATE CHEQUE or Money Order if that is your payment type. Check in time will be scheduled when you reserve your stall. Pens/ stalls will be inspected and if left clean & free of damage the pen deposit will be returned. If you do not book your pen in advance, or fail to send in stall deposit there will NOT be one available. Stabling is available on a first come, first serve basis. Personal panels are not permitted; overnight tying to trailers is not permitted.

CAMPING

$30 per unit – this is a single fee regardless of number of nights you camp. Camping is first come, first served, no reserved camping available. You will need to be prepared to take your tack to your horse’s stall or pen as in some camping areas you may not be able to take your horse to your trailer. Toilets & hot water showers are available on the grounds. No power hookups available.

GATE PASSES

Competitors each receive one pass at no charge. Additional passes may be purchased on your entry form: • Weekend pass: Adult $30, Students/Seniors (65+) $20 • Daily pass: Adult $12, Students/Seniors (65+) $8 • 10 & Under are free

Rosettes to 4th place in all classes (except for Stake Classes) Prize Money $10 – 1st, $5 - 2nd, $2.50 – 3rd O PRIZE MONEY PAID IF FEWER THAN 4 ENTRIES IN THE CLASS. High Point Awards for each age Division for Gymkhana and Horse Show. Points are tabulated for the same horse/rider combination only. Points qualify for BDRC Year End Awards and ThompsonCariboo Show Circuit Awards. Sportsmanship (Horse Show & Gymkhana) – Junior (18 & under) & Senior (19 & over). Junior Sportsmanship Award winners will be nominated for BC Horse Council Junior Sportsmanship Award. This will be determined by Judge and 2 volunteers.
