Speaking of Elizabeth Lake, the Elizabeth Lake park by Cranbrook is one of the top wildlife viewing areas in southeast B.C. The sixhectare wildlife reserve is on a migratory bird flight path, and every year becomes nesting and feeding grounds for many birding populations, and are popular for birdwatching, wildlife viewing, hiking, biking, jogging and dog walking.
