The big announcement for the evening came from Foundation Chair Jack BufďŹ e who announced that each of the rooms would be receiving new window treatments, this includes blinds that keep out the sun in summer and keep in the heat in winter as well as new curtains, all being provided by local retailer Wynans Fine Furniture and Upholstery. BufďŹ e with Suzie Vanherwaarden a director of Fir Park/Echo Village Foundation, and Donna Michaud the Executive assistant with ACCCS.
The Laureate Beta Iota chapter of Beta Sigma Phi recently made donations to the following groups that improve the quality of life for some of the more vulnerable citizens of the Valley. From left to right are Michelle Reis-Amores of Women’s Resources accepting a cheque from Julie Swaney, Olga Tardif a board member of the Community Foundation accepting from Gerry Johnston and Susan Fox of Outreach Therapy from Bev Frolic. They chose Rollin Art Centre to make these donations.
The NLCC Armour Ford held their 36th Annual Inspection on Saturday June 16 and the Navy League Cadets gave a wonderful show that was enjoyed by all who attended.
