Black-Owned Syracuse

Submit your business. Connect. Grow.

Shop Black. Shop Local. Shop with your community.

Letter from the Founder Since Black-Owned Syracuse officially launched in May of this year, I have been overwhelmed with the support and recognition from the community. Black-owned Syracuse fills a void that I personally needed and have heard other community members express they needed as well. I’ve been a resident of Syracuse, New York, starting off in the dorms at Syracuse University where I earned my Master’s in Journalism Innovation, for over 10 years. I am happy that I can use my skills to give back to the community. As stated before on our Instagram (@BlackOwnedSyracuse), this brand would not have been possible if business owners didn’t already step out on faith and start their businesses with the support of the community. I am grateful. We are still in year one, and this is our first of many annual holiday guides. A special thank you to the following business owners who participated this year: Dr. Shanelle R. Benson Reid, ACCESS Global Enterprises, LLC Allia Williams, A List Lashes Waliek Betts, All Money Spends Clothing April Williams, A Perfect 10 Natural Hair Salon Tyrone Dixon, Aroze Through Concrete Consulting Jaleel Campbell, Art by Jaleel Campbell Desiree Goodwin, Infinite Design Hair Studio Ryedell Davis, Mother & Son Wine & Spirits Christian Heyliger, Royal Creations Apparel Jai Reese, ThasRed Decor Travis Robinson, Tru Soundz Entertainment And, thank you, too. Happy Shopping! Best,

Shavon S. Greene Founder, Greene Style Media
