Rasulallah (pbuh) used to fast on these days, the three middle days of the month, known as fasts of Ayâm-e-BÎdh (white-fasts). This is when the moon is at its fullest and brightest, and the nights are 'white'.

Our Master Muhammad (pbuh) The Messenger of Allah The Fragrance and Saliva of Rasulallah(pbuh)

Hadith of Wa'il Ibn Hajar:

'The Prophet(pbuh) was once given a pitcher of water. He(pbuh) drank from it, and then spat into the pitcher, then into the well, and a scent rose from it like a frangrance of Musk'.

The Unique qualities of his(pbuh) Saliva. Allah(swt) granted to His Messenger(pbuh) many unique qualities related to his Saliva including Healing powers, The ability to qench thirst, and energy, strength, blessing and increase, and many others. Rasulallah(pbuh) healed many people with his saliva and cured them instantly! One day, Ali(ra) had sore eyes and was called to Rasulallah(pbuh). Rasulallah(pbuh) put some of his blessed Saliva on the eyes of Ali(ra) and they were instantly cured like there had never been any soreness. Rasulallah(pbuh) spat on the leg of Amir ibn Mu'adh, which had been cut off in battle. The leg was put back together like there had been no injury.! Taken from 'Our Master Mohammad the messenger of Allah' (isbn 978-90-79294-14-5) and Ash-Shifa of Qadi 'Iyad isbn 1-874216262

Our Master Muhammad (pbuh) The Messenger of Allah The blessed Saliva Rasulallah(pbuh) and His(pbuh) cleanliness.

On the day of Ashura, Rasulallah(pbuh) would call for the babies of his household and the babies of his daughter Fatimas(ra) household and spit into their mouth, then say to their mothers 'do not feed them till night'. The Saliva of Rasulallah(pbuh) would keep the babies satisfied till the night, and they would not need any more food. Amir bint Mas'ud al-Ansariyya and her sisters came to the Messenger (pbuh) to pledge allegiance to him. There were five of them. They found him(pbuh) eating dry meat and so he (pbuh) bit off a piece for them. A'amira said then he(pbuh) gave me the meat and I divided it between us and we all ate a piece. Until then and the day they met Allah(swt) the scent of their breaths never changed. The Prophet(pbuh) was the cleanest of Allah(swt) creation in his body, his clothing, his home and his(pbuh) social gatherings. His(pbuh) noble body was clean and immacculate. Hind Ibn Hala mentioned that his(pbuh) skin was bright and shining, meaning that those parts of his body not covered by clothing were the height of beauty and purity.
