Il progetto si propone di evidenziare il “ciclo di vita” del cibo. Si sottolinea il problema della produzione alimentare, causa e vittima del cambiamento climatico, e del suo consumo; questo genera questioni legate alla sovrapproduzione nei paesi industrializzati e di conseguenza dei rifiuti alimentari, che i paesi in via di sviluppo svantaggiati non sono attualmente in grado di sostenere. Nelle tre tavole a fumetti viene messa in mostra la sequenzialità del processo di produzione e consumo di cibo. Nella prima tavola e in una sezione della seconda, si sottolinea la coltivazione della produzione e le questioni climatiche che gli agricoltori devono affrontare. Nella terza tavola, il consumo di prodotto è messo in evidenza da un uomo che sta per mordere la frutta per poi buttarla via.
The art project proposes to highlight the “life cycle” of food. Underlining the problem of food production, cause and victim of climate change, and its consumption: which generates issues related to overproduction in industrialized countries and consequently of food waste, which disadvantages developing countries that are currently unable to support themselves. In the three comics’ tables it showcases the sequential nature of the production process and consumption of food. In the first table, and in a section of the second one, it underlines the production’s cultivation and the climatic issues that farmers have to face. Moreover, in the third comics table, product consumption is highlighted by a man who is just about to bite the fruit and then throw it away.
